Certainly looking a good year for them Jane. Looking at the stem and the slight greenish discolouration on the cap i would say Parrot Waxcap for those Jane. |

Sorry Dave, yet more fungi to ID for me please, if that's ok? Are these Clavulinopsis, Parrot Waxcap and Wrinkled Peach (two pics for the peach one as the first pic of the top came out rather bright in the sunlight, found on Elm)? |

Hi Ann. Spot on with the first two but i just need to check the Wrinkled Peach. First thoughts tell me it looks ok as it changes cap shape and colour with age but not sure on the gill configuration yet. |

OK, thanks Dave. I must admit the peach one has thrown me a bit too - it's nothing like the beautiful photos that you and Julie have. |

Thanks Ann. I'm happy that it is Wrinkled Peach, the gills and cap colour along with it growing on Elm discounts virtually all other species. |

Hi Tabatha. It is a Coprinus sp, likely to be Glistening Inkcap and should be ok for a bonnet fungi on the spotting challenge but not sure whether we have it on the fungi photography challenge. |

Absolutely cluless when it comes to Fungi to be honest but i spotted these/this down at the bottom of my garden. 1 is on my tree stump which i use as my bird table and the other is on one of the paving slabs next to the bird table. Are they the same Fungi or two different ones?![]() ![]()

Was having a walk in Delamere forest yesterday when I spotted these, please can you identify them for me. No. 1 - The underneath was quite yellowy which doesn't show in the photo so wondered if it might be plums and custard. The dark smudges are where I held it to turn it over. ![]() ![]() No. 2 - Very orange in colour ![]() ![]() Numbers 1 and 2 are from the forest in a coniferous area. No. 3 - On a grass verge at the base of a mixed field hedge fairly close to an ash tree. ![]() ![]() |
