Hi Marg. Yes, looks good for Chicken of the Woods. Hi Scoot. The first one is likely to be a Stereum type although i can't make out enough detail to tie it down further. Not sure on the other one but i'll look into it. Hi Hazel. 1. Larch boletus. Viscid cap, ring on the stem (unlike Suillus granulatus ) lemon/yellow-colouring to the pores and the rusty-coloured smudge where you held it is classic Larch bolete bruising. 2. Lactarius aurantiacus. 3. Clustered Brittlestem. |

The first one Scoot on your bird table is Chondrostereum purpureum. It can be added to our fungi photography challenge as well. http://www.natureuk.org/topic/7437180/6/#new Still looking at the second one but likely to be an unidentifiable Leotiomycetidae. |

Hi Ann. 1. Is indeed Coral Spot 2. Is Lycoperdon nigrescens and is not quite Stump Puffball which has a much thinner stem. 3. Is indeed Stinkhorn Do you have any of your photos that could be added to our fungi photography challenge as well Ann? |

Here are some more for you Dave, when you have the time to look. I don't think these ones are needed for the spotting challenge but one or two of them might be ok for the photography challenge (I can see you've been making good progress with that). |
