Hi Marg. Yes, spot on for Plums and Custard and a lovely fungi as well. The other one is possibly Grey-spotted Amanita but just need to check that first. |

Thanks Dave, that's a first for me, so I'm really pleased about that. I've looked up Grey-spotted Amanita and I think you could be right. Here's a couple more photos. they aren't brilliant, but might help a bit. A bit blurred I'm afraid, it looks like the camera focused on the stem. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi Marg. It might be The Blusher - Amanita rubescens, but i'll double check that for you. |

Isn't the Blusher usually brownish though Dave?
This one was definitely grayish with a hint of brown on the edge of the cap, that's what got my attention, because I've never seen a grey mushroom before.

You're right Marg. I think the brightness of my screen showed part of the cap to look pinkish but i turned the contrast down and it does look more like Grey-spotted Amanita. There is another variant of Grey-spotted Amanita (Amanita excelsa var.spissa) which is brown/pinkish but not your specimen. |

Hi Paula. Some interesting looking specimens there. Number 6 is Tremella mesenterica, it can range from being virtually translucent all the way to a deep orange colour. I'll go through the others as soon as i can Paula. |

Still looking Paula. Did the top one have gills like a milkcap or pores/tubes like a bolete? |

Hi Paula. Number 2 is Cantherellus tubaeformis and number 3 is Gymnopilus penetrans, both of which can go on the fungi photo challenge. |

Is this Common Puffball please Dave and might the second one be a White Waxcap? Then there are two photos showing the upper and undersides of one I don't have a clue about. |

Hi Ann. Yes to Common Puffball and to the white waxcap (Hygrocybe virginea), the latter of which can also be added to the fungi photography challenge. The last one is Daedaleopsis confragosa or more commonly known as the Blushing Bracket. |
