Hi Grayling. I would say either Ramaria stricta or Ramaria flava. I have keyed out all the others looking at the substrate factors so i'll try and narrow it down to one of the above. |

Post 1893, photo 2 Ann is likely to be a Tricholoma type. Do you have any photos of the stem or gills? |

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the underside of photo 2. I was just walking the dog before going to work and saw it growing in a crack in the pavement. I rushed home to get the camera, got a few photos then had to go to work. When I went back after work it had completely vanished. Thank you for your thoughts on it being a Tricholoma Dave, I'll see what I can find online. |

No worries Ann. They can be a tricky group to id without gill photos although there are exceptions within the genus. |

These were some large fungi I saw on Saturday whilst at RSPB Conwy. They were on a spit of land going out into the pool and not an area the public can go so I hope I have managed to catch enough of the underside for you to identify them. They were in almost a complete circle if that helps.![]() ![]() |

Would this be Wood Blewit please Dave? My Mum took these pics (she's been looking out for fungi that I can photograph for the spotting challenge). |
