I had forgotten all about this thread from 3 years ago! I have some pics to share of garden birds that visited me when we had the snow the other week and I thought I better check just incase I had already started a thread and forgotten it. Seems that I had, although all the photo’s are now none existent- thanks to Photobucket 🙁 Here are the ones from the time we had the snow, better late than never 😁 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

A couple more. The one of the Crow looking buried in the snow made me laugh. He was actually on the other side of a wall where the ground is lower lol ![]() ![]() ![]() |

at the buried crow! The snow seems like a bad dream now. And it was only a week ago. Lovely to see all the birds tucking in to their grub

Lovely photos Suzy. It's hard to believe that the snow was only a week ago, especially with the yesterday and today, and it's also quite warm too.

Thanks for sharing the photos. I love birds... they are just so beautiful and so fragile. I love the robin and the 'Crow in the Snow' is a belter! It looks like he's looking to the side thinking "I'm sure they can't see me buried here" - lol Great snaps! Thanks for sharing! |

Ha ha,that Crow was funny 😁 Yes thankfully all the snow has gone now, although up until Saturday we still had small piles of it on the grass verge near to our house. It seemed to take ages to go away. It was nice to see the birds, the most visitors that I have had in a long time. |

Thank you for great comments 🙂 I thought similar about the Crow, that he was thinking we couldn’t see him lol. I don’t usually see Crows that close to the house but there has been 3 hanging around since even before the snow. |

Just found this post, Suzy. The crow is indeed a wonderful illusion. Great photos and what a pity the Photobucket ones disappear. |

Wow didn’t realise when I started quoting post actually how many replies there were! Thank you everyone, mucho appreciated 🙂 Doxybirder, Thank you and yes it’s going to get more difficult to see them soon but lots of fun too. Jen, Thank you, I felt very privileged at seeing them, especially as I really don’t get many visiting anymore. Even with the snow I didn’t see even one bluetit or anything else small feeding on the hanging feeders,it was just the ground feeding birds that visited. On saying that, the Robin seems to be happy using both. Pam, Thank you. Crow was a bit of a character. I’m not sure if it’s the same one but he is still visiting and seems to be getting quite brave as he doesnt seem to mind any movement at the window,he just looks up at me and then carries on feeding as if to say ‘Oh it’s only you” Hi Eric and thank you. Yes Photobucket is a pain 🙁 |

I was going through my photo’s and saw that I had forgotten to post one of my favourites from when we had the snow. There is something special I think about seeing two Robins together ❤️![]() |
