RSPB to create million pound wildlife haven in Norfolk Broads

Thanks to nearly £1 million funding from WREN, the RSPB has purchased an area of land equivalent to around 100 football pitches in the Broads National Park, and has plans to transform it into a vital and vibrant new wetland home for vulnerable wildlife.

:cool2: Great news , Dave .. whenever new land is purchased for wildlife . For the new area to be alongside Breydon Water and Berney Marshes makes it a good , large space .

That area may never have been developed but if Wildlife groups can identify & purchase land before the developers move in ... that can only be a good thing .

The RSPB have just purchased Dunnet Head ... a place they've been managing for some years . The most northerly point in Mainland Britain :cool2:
