Eric and Jan, I certainly don't see anything wrong with enhancing our photos in post-production by lightening them up a little or making the colours pop a bit more on drab days, for example. Professional photographers do it all the time so I think we're okay there ;)

As long as you're not adding subjects that weren't in the original shot then that is acceptable. If you're doing a composite for fun and you're not trying to deceive your viewers, then that is different.

You wouldn't believe that a House Sparrow is a rare bird in our garden. I was pleased to spot one enjoying the fat balls just now.
