I agree Jan, it's a shame our climate isn't suitable.

You may remember the juvenile Robin making such a fuss trying to cling on to peck the fat balls, well an new opportunity presented itself. The top broke off the fat ball container and I had filled it fuller than usual so it discovered that it could get in from the top.

Awww, that's lovely Eric. It didn't take the Robin long to work it out.

There have been two missed opportunities today, the first when a bullfinch was on the feeder, the second when there was a feeding frenzy with six blue tits on the peanuts at the same time. However, I did get Woody again.

And the Wood Pigeon who spends it's time picking up the bits of peanuts that drop from the feeder.

They all look like they're having a bad hair day :giggle: Apart from the fat pigeon.

Thanks Ann. I have never see a Bullfinch on the feeder before, when one is around it is usually on the top of a tree. I was disappointed it flew away before as I aimed my camera.

Thanks Jan and Julie, I have never seen a Bullfinch on the feeder before. I have caught him up in the apple tree, I posted this shot some time ago.
