Another big bird to frighten the little ones away, this Jackdaw was here this morning. I was just about to photo two collared doves making a pretty picture when this one arrived.

The Blue Tits and Great Tits are dear little things but I do think Jackdaws are handsome birds too. You're lucky to have such a variety in your garden, Eric.

I put a handful of dry cornflakes on the bird-table this morning and these two Collared Doves seemed to enjoy them.
