I am hoping the bullfinches have taken up residence, the male and female seem to be about most of the time.

Thanks everyone, fingers crossed about the bullfinches. It would be nice to have some young bullfinches around. You may remember we had a nest of robins on the feeder last year.

There was a wonderful moment a minute ago, there was a Jay on the nut feeder and a GSWoodpecker on the seed feeder at the same time.

The thick ivy on the big old apple tree is where the Bullfinches sometimes seem to be, is that a possible nesting place or do they prefer hedges?
