I am hoping the bullfinches have taken up residence, the male and female seem to be about most of the time.![]() ![]() And Woody Woodpecker was in attendance again yesterday ![]() ![]() And finally a Robin advertising it's presence while a blue tit pecks at a bud ![]() |

Thanks everyone, fingers crossed about the bullfinches. It would be nice to have some young bullfinches around. You may remember we had a nest of robins on the feeder last year. |

There was a wonderful moment a minute ago, there was a Jay on the nut feeder and a GSWoodpecker on the seed feeder at the same time. |

The thick ivy on the big old apple tree is where the Bullfinches sometimes seem to be, is that a possible nesting place or do they prefer hedges?![]() ![]() It was very poor light, yesterday, so these are not particularly brilliant. ![]() ![]() A bit of a flurry of feathers ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
