Great set of photos Eric, lovely captures of the Nuthatch.

I think most of us would be very happy if we had Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Bullfinch and Long-tailed Tits in our gardens.

Thanks Jan,

These Blue Tits were enjoying the pond yesterday in spite of the cold weather, I even think there was a slight sign of freezing there too.

Thanks Jane, Ann and Jan, they wouldn't have managed that today, it looks like solid ice on both ponds.

Thanks Pam, they were back there just now skating on the ice. They keep pecking at something, perhaps something is falling from the conifer above that interests them.

Great photos Eric.

We'll be needing to make sure that all our garden birds have fresh water over the next couple of days, although having looked at the forecast for here tomorrow, it might be tricky to achieve in temperatures of -5 during the day.

Great photos, Eric. Nice to see the Pheasant, I wish I had more variety in my garden.
