wow , John i'd be very happy with that last Puffin pic is a great one .. so clear . I had a catch up and i'm struck with the reflection from the dippers chest on the water .. you can see the colour , They're all superb shots :cool3:

Oh my goodness John ... and i thought they were often in short supply . I know they lay a lot of eggs to compensate for the several predators ... this year they've been very successful in that area :cool:

Depending on the time of year there can be hundreds of Mallards on the lakes in the deer park at Eastnor Castle a couple of miles from my place. That's where I took the shot.

What I was hoping for was a shot of the Cormorant taking off, I had set the camera on sports mode and I had been holding the camera up to my eye until my arms were getting tired. The Cormorant which had been almost motionless for some time suddenly moved like it was about to fly away so I rattled off a series of shots and this was what I ended up with... quite funny though.
