Fantastic photos Lavendergirl.I cant believe that i have the same coniferThuja and have had it for years it was very small when i got it.It got the nuts on for the first time last year and i put it on for id,but i dont think it was identified..So :thankyou: very much i will get a pic if the nuts come on again....
Brilliant photos David i have the one with the black berries on but i dont know what it is.

Thats great Forget Me Not :cool: I clip mine to keep them smaller,and I have far more nuts/cones on this year than previous years,I had no idea what to expect from them,so when I first saw the nuts i wondered what they where,when I got mine they were really tiny too.

That Blue one looks like a Sloe or if it is too big for a Sloe it could be a Bullace. Which is half way between a Sloe and a Damson. Not very good eating generally but makes good jam/jelly.

If you look really close you can see lots of signs of autumnal changes when you are out and about and whilst we would like summer to continue (not that we have seen much of it since June!) there is something quite special about autumnal colours,sounds and aromas.
