Oh dear , all these predictions are sad and worrying . I was thinking their possible demise was down to developers / building If land is in private hands i'm now beginning to think it could be unsafe and sold at anytime . I hope charities like the Woodland Trust , Wildlife Trusts etc buy up as much land as they can |

They do a great job with limited resources Jen and the Woodland trust are continuously buying up pockets of ancient woodland. |
