I don't normally do loads of small bird photography. I'm normally sneaking around looking for mammals! Never the less I was pleased this one finally came from under cover.

That`s a lovely photo Scott, the fresh green leaves & blue background make for a great shot.

Great photo, Scott.

My first love is British mammals too, I'd love to see some of your photos of them. This forum is so addictive though, I find myself photographing all sorts of things!

Thank you all for you kind comments. Ann, I will post some mammal images when I get some new ones, they are being a little difficult at the minute. I spent two hours stalking four Roe deer on Saturday morning and came away without a single shot! Lol.

There is plenty of old stuff on my website if you want to take a look at www.scotttilleyphotography.co.uk

Cheers
Scott

Just checked out your website, you have some brilliant photos. I love the Hares (I have a Hare obsession), The Roe Deer in the wheat field, the one with the Robin and the Wood Mice

Thanks Ann, i normally don't have too much trouble with hares, we have had up to 9 in the fields behind us. Unfortunately this year the cows where late getting into the new grass which means the hares can see me long before i see them. My favourite is the stoat but so incredibly difficult to find to photograph!

A beautiful photo, Scott. Well worth not confining yourself to mammals when the moment presents itself

Lovely Chiffchaff Scott. I'm pretty hopeless when it comes to bird photography once leaves have appeared on the trees! (And not much better even before that).

One thing I'm doing is still learning Mike. Especially with birds, although as with most things time and patience seems to help!
