Interesting link Dave. In this modern world plants & wildlife are struggling, yet given a chance will take the opportunity where it arises, as in Mikes photo. I`m sure verges can be managed to be safe & environmental friendly. There will always be folk that like a manicured environment EVERYWHERE, this isn`t good for anything (my Mom`s one of them!) I signed the petion when it was first out. |

Manicured environments are no good at all for wildlife so there has to be a compromise which benefits wildlife and maintains road safety. |
