I go & pick Sloes for Gin & this year they look ready early. I went to see & taste!!!!!! Not ready yet for brewing but picked some for jam, it`s lovely with crab apples, blackberries & elderberries

That would be good Ann My Pyracantha is loaded with berries this year and the holly in the garden behind me has lots of red berries already. Pam, that sounds delicious I have a crab apple tree which has lovely red apples and I used to make crab apple jelly but I no longer bother - they just get left for the birds and insects.

I have a crab apple tree which has lovely red apples and I used to make crab apple jelly but I no longer bother - they just get left for the birds and insects.
