I heard this rather worrying story on the Today Programme yesterday.

That is the most worrying article i have seen in years Grayling, loss of insects on such a scale at this current rate will be catastrophic.

Thank you for the link, Grayling. It's terrible news - I've only seen one Shield bug all year and very few Wasps (although I have to say that personally, I'm not complaining about the lack of Wasps).

We have also noticed a lack of wasps, despite it being mild.
