thanks everybody, unfortunately the barn owl shot is nowhere near as nice, so will be consigned to the bin, theres always next time :)

These were taken in Norway in 2010, they are both wild birds, baited in to hides.

Unfortunately they werent on the menu for that trip, i am hoping to have a trip for those some time in the near future though :)
