My one wish was to visit Finland Ian, solely for the Owls, but it worked out very expensive and for three days in Finland we did the same for two weeks in Poland and Bellarus!

Apologies for not being on here much recently, many many issues with my website, and our 10 month old taking lots of my time :)

Our regular garden visitors have produced a chick, and now its visiting us quite a lot :)

thanks all, im trying to get some shots of it now, as its got a lot more of its colour, and looks like an adult bird :) its very brave around people, so its just a matter of time :)

Amazing photos Ian. :wow2: S/he's a lovely regular garden visitor to have.
I like the rugby ball picture - I always seem to see green woodpeckers on sports pitches/playing fields :cool:

Know what you mean Dave, it was a bit expensive but i spent a week in Norway to get these and many other shots, that im still working through now, 3 years later lol :)
