many thanks all :) would it surprise you if i told you i live in a town ? we have a large lawn, and have a park behind the house :) we were sitting in the conservatory a few night ago as a Tawny owl flew into our Lime Tree (its 60 foot tall) and was calling. was too dark for pics though. We also have 2 fox cubs visiting :) |

It is interesting how many species are becoming used to Town living , Ian . Happy for people to be around . We've moved into their areas but are sometimes providing food . Maybe they feel safer

It’s actually a pigeon I believe, it swooped and caught it before stripping a lot of feathers before flying off with it 🙂 |

Our new garden has (big breath) little Owl, tawny Owl, barn owl (rarely) red kite, buzzard, great spotted, green, and lesser spotted woodpecker, badger, fox, muntjac, loads of little brown jobs, goldfinch, greenfinch, jays, treecreeper the list is endless lol so happy to be in the middle of nowhere 🙂 It sure if this will work https://flickr.com/photos/77595642@N00/sets/72157681981329802 |
