This isn't really a sunrise, but didn't quite know where else to put this photo.

As I wasn't doing the driving this morning, I had the opportunity to have a look round. It was about 9am and it had been a very frosty start to the day, the sun was out, a perfect start to the day. As I was looking into the distance I saw this in the sky, at first I thought it was the sun peeping out from some clouds (there were tall hedges, so only had brief glimpses at first) but it wasn't, the sun was off to the right of the photo.

The sun was obviously bouncing off/through the clouds.....very weird, but beautiful. At the beginning there were a lot of colours, a bit like a rainbow effect, but because of the hedges I had to wait to get a photo, so missed that.

:wow: Marg, that is spectacular!!! Well spotted :clap3: (and a pat on the back for Julie who clearly keeps her car windows cleaner than ours usually are :giggle: )

Thanks Gill.....no I can assure you that Julie's car needs a wash, as she got it rather muddy last Saturday. :girlygiggle:

I wound the window down. :freezing: :girlygiggle:

Thinking back, I think it was probably caused by the mist/fog as there weren't any clouds.
