Beautiful Sunset Marg.

Can anyone remember when the Oil Refinery caught fire in Hemel Hempstead in 2005.
The cloud of acrid black smoke passed overhead here & I managed to take a photo of it at sunset..

Lovely sunset yesterday Marg. Unfortunately the sun didn't stay out for the evening here yesterday.

It's not fair, the Sun's supposed to shine down here.

Jan - We're about 25 miles away from the fire and the smell here was terrible. We woke up that morning and it was so dark it was as though there was an eclipse. We could see the cloud of smoke for miles.

This photo gives some idea of the ammount of smoke..It was actually a sunny day
