Great photo' but definitely not a Greylag, looks like an African goose or Dewlap Toulouse, or cross between the two.

A great portrait Owen.

Looks like a Swan Goose/Greylag/Domestic goose/Mute Swan hybrid and they can vary hugely in plumage colour and detail. These Swan Geese x hybrids come in a variety of shapes and sizes and it's not unusual for Domestic Swan geese to breed with Mute Swans, carrying over some of the adult traits, such as the bill knob clearly seen on a Mute Swan, as in your image. Not all hybrids always show a mix of each parent and this is why it is very difficult to positively identify hybrids.

These hybrids are affectionately known as a 'Swoose'

An amazing photo Owen, like everyone else I haven’t seen anything like it.

I don’t think it is a Swoose, Jane, more like a Gwan.
