What a good thing the judges were alert. Mind you, even the BBC production crews aren’t blameless. This is recent news: - “The BBC has been dragged into a fakery row after it admitted a tribe in one of its documentaries had built treehouses for the benefit of the cameras - but did not actually live in them. The Corporation said that series Human Planet had breached its ‘editorial standards’ by inaccurately portraying the lives of members of a community in Papa New Guinea. In the documentary, the Korowai tribe can be seen building the houses and relocating their pets and children up to the treetops.” |

Glad they got disqualified. What a set up. Totally agree Eric... I don't understand why they can't just tell us the potentially 'boring?' truths.... okay, so maybe they build themselves clay huts to live in. Okay, it may not be treehouses but how safe are they when the kids want to play outside??? I'd just rather know the truth! It's interesting enough to see how others live. Sad that they feel they have to glorify it. |

glad they got found out and qualified.I'm not sure how it won anyway even if it had been real I don't think it's that good a photo anyway I've just bee reading about that Eric not only were the treetop houses faked they also faked a story of how an infant camel had been killed by wolves."Producers had been unable to film a wild wolf for the programme and used a semi-domesticated wolf which had been let off a lead just before filming, " |

Shows you how subjective photographs can be, i personally would not have chosen that and to think it was a fake image anyway makes it that more ridiculous. |
