Fillable 4th edition Character Sheets:

You must have Acrobat Reader.

  • Neatly typed character sheets, so people won't have to read your crappy handwriting.
  • Automatically calculates everything as you type in attributes and such

  • Unless you have Acrobat (rather than just Acrobat Reader), you can't save the forms
  • Some stuff isn't really calculated out, so you don't end up saving THAT much work.

Still, for those of us who absolutely cannot read our own handwriting, it's an overall winner.
"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.

"The other, of course, involves orcs."

Thanks for the post.

Of course it makes those of us who foolishly purchased the actual character sheets look like obsessive compulsive D&D addicts that have to buy every product that has the Dungeons and Dragons stamp on it, but what can you do?
Current Project:
Sure as hell not the Idrians, as they suck in MK II.

Actually, I found another site with 4e character sheets that I like somewhat better than the "official" ones.

They have a better (IMHO) layout.

That site also has a character manager that will let you fill in the character sheets and save them to an online database, so that if you are ever forget your character sheet you can log in and print it out online. Costs a nominal one-time fee, but some folks might find it to be worth it.

You can register for free, and try it out to decide whether it is worth it for you.
