I'm still a bit miffed that I lost as badley as I did to those accursed Nurgle Deamons at the last tourney, so I've been doing a lot of souless searching in trying to find a reliable way of countering the sheer resiliance of desciples of rot. I know tactics, and tactics, and even tactics are the best course to take, but sometimes 16 Str 4 chariot impact hits in the flank of a unit of plaguebears just isn't enough (this really happened, and I bounced horribly)....so I've revised my list to hopefully give some punch to my army: Tomb King ~ Flail of Skulls (unsaved wounds = 2); Claok of Dunes (Fly - but can't charge fly); Armour of the Ages (+1 wound); shield Tomb Prince ~ flail; Chariot; Chariot of Fire (D6+1 flaming/magical impact hits); Golden Eye of Rahnut (5+ Ward to Chariot and denies str7 auto-destroy hits to normal wounds) Liche Priest ~ Staff of Raving (3D6 Str 2 magic missile) Hierophant ~ skeletal steed; Hieretic Jar; Dispell Scroll 24 Skeleton Warriors ~ HW; SH; LA; Champ; Standard; Banner of Undying Legion (raises back skeletons) 2 x 20 Skeleton Warriors ~ bows; Standard; Champ 3 Chariots ~ Standard; Champ; War Banner 3 Chariots ~ Standard; Champ 1 Tomb Swarm 6 Skeletal Light Horsement ~ bows 3 Carrion 2 x Tomb Scorpions Screaming Skull Catapult ~ Skull of the Foe I'm hoping this list will allow me to do a better job of getting some comb charges off with the King and Chariot units, while also allowing my missle guys to fart at the enemy in a vain attempt to distract the enemy's heavy hitters away from my army core. I'm also considering taking away the Catapult and squeezing in a Bone Giant for total mobility of the army. Thoughts? Has any one come away from a Daemon fight with positive results? |

It unfortunately restricts it in the magic item's description. |

I really don't see the CLoak on the king being useful. As point heavy as he is, charging him into Warmachines and the like is a waste, and charging him into ranked units is suicide. What are the tactics you're thinking of for it. |

Current Project: Sure as hell not the Idrians, as they suck in MK II. | |

He would be out directing traffic. With him out in the field, he can lend his "they will be done" out to units needing to get more movement. Or... He could fly between the Catapult and the skele blocks. I'm starting to think about this now. What if I put the cloak on the Prince and put the King in the Chariot? He could be with the Catapult in the begining and then fly out to the infantry block when its about to see close combat. |

Is there a way to make your catapults flaming? I can't remember. |

There's a way to add a -1 leadership test modifier to panic tests caused by hits from the catapult. Its called "Skull of the Foe." |
