The Covenant, The flood, and The humans now all battle for existence. "SR. i don't think we can win this" the marine on a heavy machine gun said. "if you keep thinking like that boy you'll be the first of us dead." the leader retorted. "Well Sr. we have the area covered, all we have to do is weight for the covenant to strike or for our search squad to come back with information." Master Chief said. Snipers kept an eye out for any move movement in the partially open field. |

Three Elites were about 50 yards from trhe marine base with their camo on watching the marines with the scopes on their beam rifels "They are waiting" one Elite was saying to another and he replied back "And they will keep waiting we will not attack them we need to worry about our own base right now so get off your *** and get to searching for any signs if the flood" The Elites went on searching through the forest for signs of the flood. "Okay we need to go back to camp we havn't found any signs and we need rest so lets go" |

Flood of all sizes could be seen coming from the other sides of the small wooded area. Some of the marine machine gunners opened fired and men with rockets started to fire them. To everyones surprise the covenant where down there too. A machine gun's bullet strayed from its target because of the recoil and wind and hit a covenant grunt. "****, looks like we just jumped to a large scale battle. Thank god we're not in the middle like the covenant" Master Chief stated. |

The three Elites ran toward the sounds of the battle and when the got there it was an all out battle for life the Flood on one side humans on the other and the Covanent in the middle. "Come we must join the battle energy swords out and charge" The Elites pulled out their swords and charged into the mass of flood swinging. |

The marine machine gunners focused most of their fire on the flood because of their out standing number. They out numbered the humans and covenant 60 to 1. "i've never seen so many enemies at once" a marine machine gunner said as he continued firing his gun. The marine snipers were forced to put down their snipers because the covenant were moving around to fast and their bullets don't effect the flood. Lucky for them extra battle rifles were laying around. For a while the humans received no fire from either of their enemies but once the flood level dropped low, the covenant started to attack the humans as well as the flood. |

OOC:sorry i havn't been on I was grounded but I'm back now IC: The Copvanent were scrambled across the battle fieldattacking anything that moved. They were running from one place to another fighting the flood and every once in a while a human the flood were slowly backing away so the covanent kept pushing them back. |

The marines continue to slowly back up as the covenant move closer to their position, they await the hornets to arrive so they can escape. Snipers stayed lose to the battle to keep as many elites and brutes away from the marine base as possible. Tons of covenant have been infected by the flood and now the flood, find them selves out numbered again. |

The Covenant quickly noticed a large portion of tthem were being turned into flood and they wquickly started to kill the infected. "Quick kill them before they turn fully flood kill them now they must not infect us." At the command of the Elite they all started killing the infected Covenant. |

Finally the hornets arrived. The marines loaded up and prepared to fire at the covenant and flood as they pass by. Machine guns flare and rockets fire as the marines fly over the battle between the covenant and the flood. its been so long i've forgotten what i was gonna do, i guess i gotta make stuff up |
