Been bored of playing games lately
I'll be honest, there have been a few times over the years. I am definitely NOT at that point right now. I went about 10 months after my daughter was born only playing DS games occasionally, and some Fallout New Vegas on the weekends if I was up late. Then my wife an I kind of split up for 6 months. During that time I probably gamed an average of 4 - 6 hours a day. When we got back together, I quit cold turkey. I was pretty strong for the first few months. We have been back together for over 6 months now, and I would kill to be able to play regularly. The trouble is, between working 50-60 hours a week and parenting, I hardly ever have time. I get to play about 30 minutes a week if I am lucky these days.

What I wouldn't give for some Battlefield multiplayer, Assassin's Creed, Fallout, and Oblivion. Maybe one day

Samsung HDTV doesn't want to display N64?
I have a Samsung 43" plasma. I just played the 64 on it for the first time this past saturday. I was using an RF adapter, so there was of course no issue. You have me curious to try the normal cables sometime now though. :eh:

Carts
That it is the way I thought I heard it explained as well, Grizz.

I think flash cards would be awesome. Game makers could customize the shell per game to create some awesome looks. Games could be stored on long sticks with dummy slots to plug em in to. That sounds so awesome to me :)

How To Make my brothers a Nintendo 64 Fan
It doesn't sound like there is much reasoning with them man. I love modern consoles and games too, but I classics have their place. Yes, the graphics are largely dated. Graphics are by no means more important than gameplay. If people can't realize that, I doubt there is hope for em'. As for the OoT hater brother, it is his loss if he wants to be that way. OoT is beyond a game, it is high art in my book! Just my 2 cents ;)

Carts
Even though I understand they are not as cost effective as discs, I too love the cartridge format. They are much more durable, and well.... fun looking

Haha! Yes, that would be perfect! I am glad this topic is finally getting some steam. It had 60+ views before a reply!

The Walking Dead
That is awesome!

NBA
I'll be honest, I hardly ever watch a moment of NBA. I do read and listen to sports updates every day though. I was born in Oklahoma City, and all my family lives in Oklahoma. I know the Thunder is good, and will cast a vote in favor of them.

I remember you and your love of Quest from long ago! Nice to hear from you :)

Goldeneye X
I have the rom. I got it a coupole months ago, but have yet to play it any. I will be moving this to software modding, where it belongs.
