I think something like this could work in some capacity. We have a member survey coming up in a couple of days. I will try to remember to add a question about whether or not people would be in favor of it. Thanks for the suggestion :yeah:

GAME: Post a Picture Better Than the Last
Congratulations, Cabanon :D

May Game of the Month Nomination Topic
Hello everyone, Welcome to the Game of the Month nomination topic.

Here is how it works:
Each member gets to nominate 1 game that was not in the top 20 in sales. The topic will remain open for 10 days (ending April 11th). At which point, I will write each of the nominations on a piece of paper, and draw 5 total out of a bowl.
Those 5 will then be put to a vote for 10 days (ending April 21st) to decide the official "Nintendo 64 Forever Game of the Month". You may nominate a game already chosen by another member if you wish too, but only one piece of paper per game nominated will be put in to the bowl. If someone has already nominated a game you wished to nominate, please consider going with your 2nd choice. Those nominated that are not drawn out as well as the 4 that lose the vote will be eligible for re-nomination next month if you so choose.

In case anybody is lost here, the idea is for you to play the winning game for a bit, and then
comment on your thoughts after playing. We used to discuss things like game play, graphics, sound, controls, replay value, as well as how the game has stood the test of time. This is a great chance to discover fun games you perhaps missed out on.

If you do not own the winning game; perhaps consider borrowing, buying, renting (anybody still rent n64 games?), or find another way of playing (emulation) or perhaps even check for it on the virtual console.
Any questions? Just ask away...

I am going with Top Gear Rally........ again :yeah:

Blast Corps
It won by a landslide, so we should have some good talks. I played it twice ages ago. It was interesting to me, but I personally never got really hooked.

Suggestion: Nintendo64Forever YT Network?
Gooman, If I recall correctly. we were sort of appointing a committee of members. those members along with the staff would construct the criteria necessary to get a video approved. I think clarky even started work on an intro clip advertising our forum that would appear in all videos.

So in a nutshell from what I remember, yes members would be allowed to contribute if the video meets the criteria (quality and content) and is approved by the committee.

What are you doing RIGHT NOW?!?!
I am currently sitting here browsing the forum. Also tinkering with my now going haywire Blackberry Dinosa.... I mean Curve

In a bit me and the wife and daughter are going to go across the road to Bass Pro Shops. My little girl likes to see the waterfall, fish, taxidermy animals, and best of all..... the pontoon boats ;)

Suggestion: Nintendo64Forever YT Network?
It isn't up and running yet. There have just been some private talks to decide a few things. I it will be up in the next few months though. There will be a big announcement that you won't be able to miss, I promise

Birthday Celebration Time!
OK, not getting a whole lot of feedback here, I hope that isn't a bad sign??? Anyhow, One time will be 11:00 AM central time here in the US. The other will be at 11:00 in Sydney (Hobart zone I believe Bane told me). The date is April 5th!. I will post later tonight or tomorrow showing how that translates to our other members here.

Big thanks to member, Bane for volunteering for the time zone help :yeah:
This is list came from Bane, I reworked it a bit to change his numbers to match for 11:00 instead of 10:00 like I had originally talked about.

For 11:00 AM in Sydney

US Eastern time - 15 Hours Behind/8:00PM April 4th
US Pacific - 18 Hours Behind/ 5:00PM April 4th
US Mountain - 17 Hours Behind/ 6:00 PM April 4th
US Central - 16 Hours/ 7:00PM April 4th

Netherlands - 10 Hours Behind/ 1:00AM April 5th
New Zealand - 2 Hours Ahead/ 1:00PM April 5th
Paris - 10 Hours Behind/ 1:00AM April 5th
Japan - 2 Hours Behind 9:00AM April 5th
Germany - 10 Hours Behind/ 1:00AM April 5th

I will try to get the inverse of that up for you guys soon for the US time one. I will make an announcement across all sections after that to make sure people know to try. The international dateline is a touch confusing for me. I keep getting confused as to whether it is the 5th or not for our European members. I am pretty sure it is. Can anybody say for sure. I would hate to be wrong on that one.
