Controller discussion
i loved the n64 controller.

i find the gc controller to be most comfortable, and the playstation controller has the best button placement.
the n64 controller is a colse 3rd behind them.

I HAVE MY DEGREE!~!~!~!~!~ (v.2)
congratulations :D

What games are you playing?
after 150+ hours of fallout i have put it down.
i have just finished 3 rounds of uncharted.
before that i beat battlefield bad ompany.

that's about it.

What games do you wish you finished?
on the n64

bomber man 64 - i was dissapointed with it, but still wish i would have stuck with it.
super mario 64 - i never made it to 120 stars. i stopped at 116 leaving the most difficulones left undone.

ps2

driver 3 - hardly anbody liked it. i thought it was ok, but one frustrating missin made me drop it completely.
gta III - although i played it alot at a friends, i bought it after vice city, and thus never finished it.
gta vice city stories - i was playing it simultaneously on the ps2 and psp, and never made it past 75%
red dead revolver - bought it after gun, which i loved, and never really got in to it.
the getaway - awesome, innovative game. i just never got past a couple of hours in.
splinter cell - looked cool, and felt cool. i just never really cared.
true crime streets of new york - actually wish i wouldn't have bought this one, but atleast beat it since i did.

Console position: Horizontal or Vertical?
i prefer vertical, but for easy transportation i usually have my ps3 horizontal in front of the tv. i would rather have it vertival next o the tv, but the wires are just to hard to re-run every time i take it somewhere.

Strange but true things that you've experienced?
hmmm,

as far as ghosty stuff i have see i very thick black, light absorbing mass. it sat at the edge of the yard one night at my wifes grandmothers. a dog also noticed it, sat down infront of it for a bit, and then turned back to look at me and my brother in law, almost in a kind of way like the mass made it aware of us. creepy stuff.

i have also had something pass by behind me while sitting in the desk chair in my living room. i could have sworn someone was in the room. when nobody was there i turned back to the pc, and abruptly heard my wife scream. she was in the spare bedroom and saw something resembling a black figure passing over our driveway. this all happened in about 10 seconds time. very weird...

i have also experienced blatanltly obvious footsteps and heard/felt breathe before. that's happened on a couple of occasions.

i grew up near a huge airforce base in oklahoma, and saw many type of ufo looking objects. most likely just plains from odd angles though. one night we saw blinking red ligths falling vertically from a plane. later detremined after following them that it was a miltary plane practicing dropping crates of some sort. there were blinking lights on the crates which were dropped with parachutes onto gov property.

and lastly, while visiting family in oklahoma i thought i would take my wife out in the country and let her hear some coyotes. my grandma suggested the nearby town of "gould" where she said they could be heard. it is a small farm town of maybe 150 peope. we parked under a street light in a church parking lot. we heard nothing the first 2 nights. the third night we went back at like 2 in the morning. it was extremely quite, no dogs barking or anything like the other nights. we were getting weirded out a good bit. we had 3 guns in the car with us (which is not unusual anyway, but we had been target practicing at the river ealier that day)

out of nowhere my wife starts yelling "go go go" i didn't know what was going on so i started asking what was wrong she yelled "he's got a gun" by this time i finally got the truck started and shifted. i didn't care what gear i hit i just wanted to get moving. well i was in neutral so the engine just reved loudly. i shifted into drive and as we started going i saw a man in a firefighters uniform weilding a shotgun about 10 feet from the truck aiming at us.

i quickly drove 2 blocks to the highway and drove 12 miles back to my moms house. i later determined, after talking to some people, that it was an idiot by the name of david wade who i went to school with. he had been caught messing around on some peoples property a bunch in army gear. he was on drugs and had been kicked out of the military. it appears he had seen us the 2 nights before and hid in the abandoned house by the church waiting on us. the firefighter suit cracks me up to think about.

it was a crazy situation looking back. i know he was likley just trying to scare us as he never shot, but still. considering we were both armed , it could have gone a lot worse. i always wondered what would have happened if he had approached from my side of the truck, i hade a bersa .380 in my lap when it happened.
we also a ruger 9mm and a ruger 357 magnum in bag in the floorboard. if he is still up to that crap, he will get shot one of these days by somebody. oh btw, his dad is on the police force! :w00t:

thats all i can think of for now...
