GEOFFREY Controller
Welcome, finngamer! Your reputation has beaten you here! You have a nice collection!

Nice find, ddr2nite! :D

Back in business!
That is what I was thinking too. I plan to log in with the old one to get my 9 or so New Vegas trophies I have yet to sync up, then deactivate the old one. Then I will activate my new one, and claim the waiting trophies on it. That is of course if it all goes according to plan :yeah:

Back in business!
I connected my 2 PS3's to get the data across. I am thinking once I log in to the psn, they may work then :-/

Not the end of the world if not though...

Back in business!
The saves work so far. I do longer have either dlc though. Perhaps when the psn is back up.

Back in business!
I got my transfer done last night. Fallout New Vegas works, which was my main concern. GTA IV, Battlefield BC2, and Saboteur are my next big concerns. Also some of the exclusive content for some games I purchased new has me worried. I used codes to unlock free stuff on both Saboteur and New Vegas, and I am not real sure I will have the stuff anymore. I was going to do the cloud thing if I had too.

Anyhow, the TV looks great :D
Now if the psn will just get back online :-/

Back in business!
Got to spend a little tax return money this past week. I bought a 320 gig PS3 (with Move & Sports Champions) and a 43" Samsung plasma TV :D

My wife got her a new digital camera! Now if i could just find time to enjoy my new toys

Also dreading my Fallout New Vegas saves likely not working when I transfer them over <_<

Prank Calls
Nice!

Prank Calls
Weird call

I used to prank call a bit in high school, a few teachers and strangers mainly. I even got my grandma once. I would call talking with a lisp saying my name was Michael Pena, and I wanted their participation in a th'urvey  I would then ask random stupid questions. I do not remember anybody catching on. I also used to call people and play random crazy sound effects at them.

I get a real kick out of soundboard prank calls using celebrity voices too.

N64's main genre
Regardless of what wkipedia says, I feel differently. I think you have to look at the quality as much as you do the quantity. I feel platformers were its' main genre. Mario 64 revolutionized the genre completely, and many great platformer games followed suit on the 64. I think the Nintendo 64 doesn't get enough credit for this, or for revolutionizing the FPS genre.

Again, I am looking at it with both quality and quantity figuring in. There may have been a ton of racing games, but not that many were that great to me.

May Game of the Month tie breaker
OK, Declaring this one done now. Wetrix is your May Game of the Month. Thanks to all who participated.

Worst.Label.Ever ?
Yikes, that does invoke boredom  I think someone should look at the cartridge art and want to buy the game if they haven't already. Heck you at least want it to be appealing.

May Game of the Month tie breaker
You guys have formed quite the deadly alliance

Post When You Buy or Sell Any Game
Cool, let me know how you are enjoying it. The tiny bit I have seen and played looked awesome.

May Game of the Month tie breaker
This is to decide the winner of our May Game of the Month. We had a tie between Wetrix and Gauntlet Legends. Cast your re-vote now.
The new poll will be up until the 18th :D

Just curious
I am glad to see some good came from my goof up

Post When You Buy or Sell Any Game
Purchased Fallout New Vegas on sale at Gamestop earlier today. Who knows when/if I will ever get time to play it, but it was just too cheap to pass up.

Explain Your Display Pic!
Well, V is a fictional hero of mine who stands up to a tyrannical government. He is a freedom fighter.

I had Agent 47 as my pic for ages, mainly because he is so cool 8)

Looks like we are in for a vote off. We have no new votes in a few days, so it seems likely. If that is the case, I will post a re-vote between the two games, and leave it up for 3 days.

A sad day for games
I sometimes play GTA IV on there, do you have it? If not that's cool. We can just drop each other a "Hey" from time to time as we see each other on ;)

Buying N64 items
I have never bought anything Nintendo 64 related on the net. My shopping in the 64's hay day was done mostly at Walmart. When new games stopped being released, I started shopping at Eb/Gamestop. More recently I visit Game Haven to shop.

I just kind of go in there with my budget in my head. I try to look at every game they have, until I feel I have found the best game or combination of games possible for my money. They do not have many accessories there, but I do make it a point to look at them. I just try to remember product reviews I have read, and also consider what the fair market value should be based on what I have heard.

I am sure full time collectors could offer more valuable tips, but here are mine.

1. Know how much you are going to spend. (Try to set a limit)
2. Don't impulse buy (Buying an amazingly rare game/item is not cool if you payed double what you could have if you shopped around or used patience)
3. Clean EVERYTHING you buy. Germs suck and so does fecal matter :-X . I clean everything used I buy down to the cracks and crevices.
