Just started the first Turok again.
I couldn't get the controls down when I was younger. When it won GotM a few years ago, I bought it and played a few levels.Found it to be very enjoyable!

May Game of the Month Vote Off
Wow, Three way tie going so far! :yeah:

What's your favorite philosophical movie?
Wow, some very good other ones being named. Lord of the Flies, Terminator, and The Beach

What's your favorite philosophical movie?
Gattaca is a good one. Six pounds & Crash come o mind. I will agree about Fight Club. I will also throw in No Country for Old Men, which is my favorite movie. It has always had underlining meaning throughout, but after reading the book I noticed even more.

Hardest N64 levels
Back in the day the control room on Goldeneye was of course a pain. I remember Wiz Pig and the other bosses on DKR being a pain, along with some of the silver star challenges. When I have gone back through the game in recent years, they seem pretty easy now

Our New Aquarium
Sublime: Sorry about your Watchman. Our local fish store has one right by the door. Neat little fellows that remind me of the Pearly Jawfish we are planing to get. I would love to see a pic of your set up should you ever get the chance :yeah:

Thanks Milage :)

Our New Aquarium
That is cool about the storage tub filtration. Seen a few done like that lately. It was very neat being able to decide for myself what to do in the sump. I went with an oversized skimmer, a slot where I can put filter media, some more live rock rubble in another compartment, and a place for chaeto algae down there too. Yes we still have our 38 gallon freshwater. It is doing fantastic. We also have another 75 gallon tank sitting in the basement for another future freshwater tank, and a ten gallon we may do shrimp in! I am thoroughly hooked

Our New Aquarium
Well we changed directions after my last post. We decided to go with a 75 gallon saltwater tank instead. So I designed and built a 29 gallon sump tank to operate under the cabinet with the filtration equipment inside of it. Makes for a much less cluttered display tank. I got it up and running yesterday. We are letting it cycle for about 3 weeks before adding fish or coral.

Here are some pics.

After sand and live rock were added, but before the water.

After adding water and letting the sand settle back down.

And now for a peek under the cabinet at the sump, before the water went it.

Thanks for looking :yeah:

Wrestlemania 2000
You know what I always appreciated? The fact that the animations from the WCW THQ games remained in this one. Made it super easy to make my own "Sting" as I always did on WWF games. Scorpion death drop!!!

May Game of the Month Vote Off
Sorry I am a little late with the poll. I was on vacation. Here are all 6 nominated games to vote on. (No point in excluding one) Thanks to all who participated :yeah:

I'm Back :)
Welcome back TofuJunky! Good to see you again.

Keep me in your thoughts
Very sorry to hear, Luke. Dealing with the loss of my grandparents was one of the hardest things I have ever dealt with. My grandpa has been gone over ten years now. I still think about him daily.

May Game of the Month Nomination Topic
Great selections :yeah:

May Game of the Month Nomination Topic
Time for nominations once again, but lately we have a made some changed to GotM. I am now including an eligible game list to help folks know what games are open for nomination.

Here is how it works:

Each member gets to nominate 1 game that was not in the top 20 in sales. The topic will remain open for a week to ten days. At which point, I will write each of the nominations on a piece of paper, and draw 5 total out of a bowl.

Those 5 will then be put to a vote for the rest of the month to decide the official "Nintendo 64 Forever Game of the Month". You may nominate a game already chosen by another member if you wish too, but only one piece of paper per game nominated will be put in to the bowl. If someone has already nominated a game you wished to nominate, please consider going with your 2nd choice. Those nominated that are not drawn out as well as the 4 that lose the vote will be eligible for re-nomination next month if you so choose.

In case anybody is lost here, the idea is for you to play the winning game for a bit, and then
comment on your thoughts after playing. We used to discuss things like game play, graphics, sound, controls, replay value, as well as how the game has stood the test of time. This is a great chance to discover fun games you perhaps missed out on. Also please feel free to participate by sharing thoughts and memories of the game.

If you do not own the winning game; perhaps consider borrowing, buying, emulation, or perhaps even check for it on the virtual console.
Any questions? Just ask away...

Hello everyone
Hello, Jordan. Glad to have you. Welcome to Nintendo 64 Forever! :yeah:

Wrestlemania 2000
Wrestlemania 2000 narrowly beat out ISS to be our winner. I spent well over 100 hours on this game back in the day. In high school I pretty much lived and breathed pro wrestling. I enjoyed it all, but was a hardcore WcW fan. I played and enjoyed WcW/nWo World Tour and WcW/nWo Revenge and loved both. I also had Warzone and Attitude, but Acclaim just never seemed able to top the THQ/AKI wrestling games.

I never played No Mercy, so Wrestlemania 2000 was the undisputed king of wrestling games at my house. My friends and I spent a good deal of time on the game. I enjoyed playing through the story mode, and creating my own wrestlers. Years later after I had stopped watching wrestling, I bought a couple of Raw vs Smackdown games, and really enjoyed them. They reminded me of all the fun I had in high school. While Wrestlemania 2000 is dated, I still have had fun when I went back to it.

April Game of the Month Vote Off
What a close one! Tie is broken no though. I will have the topic up shortly. Sorry for the delay, worked 14.5 hours saturday, and took the day to rest yesterday.
