The NFL Blitz thread (kaillera, anyone?)
I played the original NFL Blitz a lot and what I enjoyed most was making up my own plays. I'll have to check because I believe I still have the plays saved on one of my controller paks.

Does everyone actually harbor those crazy sentiments that the apocalypse is going to happen next month??
Of course not, the apocalypse isn't going to happen next month. It's going to happen in January of 2013 when we take a swan dive off the fiscal cliff.

The power of the mind is far stronger than the powers of others on the individual, and the fact that you aren't able to prove differently is suspect to this.
Please watch the videos in this thread again closely and you'll see that professional third-party investigators have also experienced and measured both sound and radio frequency anomalies in my home.
I honestly hope you didn't pay this investigator too much money. Anything from cordless phones, TVs, Computers, WiFi, Cell Phones, etc, etc can and do give off radio frequencies.
It's a shame that Artyom didn't do any research before making his pejorative remark. If he had he would have discovered that the meter our private investigator used to discover the unnatural radio frequencies in our home is designed to filter out free radio airwaves.

Cathie and I contacted the FCC today to see if our case #12-C00413735 is still open and we were told that it is. :-/

Folks, making the kind of uninformed observations that Artyom did is dangerous. Believing that he knows more about radio frequencies than a person who is licensed and considered a professional in electronic counter-surveillance is about as stupid as people who don't believe that bionic (thought-controlled) limbs are a reality because they are not aware of the progress made in neuroscience.

Be advised that this technology was heavily funded by the US Defense Department. The Russian government is also funding some amazing technology which I'll mention in my next post. Until then here's a very interesting article to read (which also has an embedded video clip).

If I had the money I'd probably buy this Silo Home as I think the stuff is about to hit the fan here in the United States. ;)

Wii Mini
The Wii Mini looks pretty nice but without Wi-Fi support it's hard to justify picking one up at $99. Since my favorite games on the system, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Goldeneye 007, all support on-line multiplayer I'd be lost with a Wii that doesn't allow for on-line play.

I'm really happy with my full-sized Wii that not only allows for on-line play, access to the Virtual Console service and the ability to send my Mii to friends but is also backwards compatible with GameCube software and controllers.

$99 hardware revision cannot connect to Internet at all or play previous generation games; hits retail December 7 exclusively in Canada.

Nintendo confirmed the Wii Mini as a Canada-exclusive to be sold through the holiday season. No mention was made of a release in other territories. A landing page at the company's website confirms the earlier reports. The Wii Mini cannot connect to the Internet or play GameCube games.

Complete report.

Cathie and I requested our Freedom of Information/Privacy Act (FOIPA) forms from the FBI and mine has a very curious comment that Cathie's does not.

Mickey..... :D :D
Yup and I'd get it but I just can't see adding another kart racer to my library.

What games are you playing?
Since I've been in a bit of a fighting game phase lately I decided to play some Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2. Brilliant game but it's tough to get used to the long loading times after playing so much Killer Instinct Gold on the N64.

Rare insight into Rare
My updated Rareware N64 collection with just one game missing. Can you guess which one?

EddieJ1984: You got an excellent deal there, bud!

I suggest laying the Xbox 360 flat on its side as they run cooler that way.

Also, try running a lens cleaner on your old PS2 to make it boot quicker. Usually that problem is caused by a dirty or maladjusted lens.

90 bucks for a Wii is a hella deal! I know the newer ones aren't backwards compatible with GameCube games but that's still an excellent price.

That's cool, I really enjoyed Killer Instinct on the SNES, I should try to pick up the N64 version sometime.
As this video shows, Killer Instinct Gold is an amazingly fun game when played against another real live person.

The Wii U Topic
Lithium: Would you please do a video showing Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii being played on a Wii U that's connected to a HDTV with a HDMI cable? If you have the time please also show how the on-line functions of both games are handled by the Wii U. Thanks!

DeeMoney, Grizzmeister.

You both will have to send me your Wii friend codes for some Goldeneye play online sometime. :yeah:
Here's my FC for Goldeneye 007.
