Game Quickie - Mario Tennis
Quick and entertaining.

It still amazes me how this brilliant game is so overlooked. Graphically it's one of the finest Mario games on the system and in 4-player mode it rivals Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Bros. for fun factor.

Wave Race 64 challenge
Shibbypod you win. You're our official Wave Race 64 master. All questions regarding the game will from this point forward be directed to you. This is obviously a great honor so don't let it go to your head. ;)

Custom Mario Kart 64 console
Imagine what could be achieved if zoki and clarky collaborated on a project. :w00t:

Halo Series
I've been playing a lot of Halo 4 lately. I'm up to a level 56 Pioneer.

N64 collection discussion
I like your video Z-Trigger. You speak the universal language of video gaming.

Retro games will continue to sell via Ebay and Amazon so the old brick and mortar sales model is as dead as vinyl records.

New Here
Howdy LIL D 916!

Another Aussie
A warm welcome from the land up over, Nindif. ;)

Hey, you Aussies are taking over this place. I guess global warming has made Oz so hot that all you guys have left as viable options is staying inside and playing N64 games.

i dont like gamestop anyways i heard 500 stores will be closing this year
Victims of digital distribution I suspect. That and the economy in the US shows no sign of really rebounding any time soon. I hope Sony and Microsoft keep that in mind when they launch their new consoles.

Custom Mario Kart 64 console
Wow, two of my most favorite games on the N64! And your craftsmanship is really topnotch on these, zoki. That Wave Race 64 controller is stunning! :o

Wave Race 64 challenge
Well... at least I started playin' WR64 again. ;)

Nintendo 64 Forever: Happy Birthday thread
A heartfelt Happy Birthday to you Andy. You're one of the special people who has made this site a success and the world a better place to live in. :gift:

Wave Race 64 challenge
If YogurtStorm joins in it's all over. :P

So does everybody agree on default track conditions but the racer's attributes can be adjusted?

I'm down too. What course? What times?
Why don't we start with the first course Sunny Beach with all conditions set to default and on the normal difficulty setting? We can switch to hard when we get to Marine Fortress.

Hello All
Cheers Jack! Welcome to our group and thank you for sharing your story.

I've been getting more and more into this game just for fun recently and have most of my times down to within a couple or few seconds from the claimed world records. Does anyone want to challange my times?
Sure why not. Post your times and let's see what we can do.

BTW, I'm a huge fan of Wave Race 64 as I've gone as far as to collect the Japanese re-release which added Rumble Pak support. I have the Wii Virtual Console version too which looks magnificent in progressive scan and in 16:9 widescreen.

Which Super Smash Bros?
My friends and I ban Meta Knight cuz he's so cheap but most of the other characters are relatively well balanced.

A few months back my friend Steven and I had an epic match in which he used Marth and I picked Falco. It was probably the single most competitive match I've ever played in any of the Super Smash Bros. games and better still it was wicked fun.

Hori Mini Pad Variations
I want a Hori Mini so bad I can taste it!

Mario Golf
Wow, I just realized that my cartridge doesn't have Boo Valley unlocked yet! What I suspect happened is that my original cartridge which I purchased used and in rough condition got swapped out with one in better shape but I lost something that me and my friends spent countless hours opening up. ;_;

What's the oldest video game you still play?
The barbarian fighting game masterpiece for the Super Nintendo known as Weaponlord (released in 1995) is probably the oldest video game that I still play regularly. It's the reason that I keep a SNES connected to my CRT TV as a matter of fact since an HD remake of it has yet to be released on any of the newer consoles. :(
