Is there a better application of the rumble pack than revving your jet ski engine at the start in shindou Wave Race?
I like the sense you get of actually cresting a wave that the Rumble Pak provides.

To my mind, Wave Race 64 Shindou Edition is the definitive version of the game. :yeah:

I should mention that I love racing games and Wave Race 64 is bested only by F-Zero X on the Nintendo 64 and that's because the latter has more content and supports 4 player mode.

If you're a racing fan or simply appreciate Wave Race 64 as the masterpiece it is then you Must Have the Shindou version which adds Rumble Pak support and a few additional features.

Yeah, Turok Rage Wars is great but it's essentially just a multiplayer game. In fact, since it plays much more like a PC FPS of the 1990's my friends and I spent much more time with it than even Goldeneye.

For singleplayer I believe Turok 2 is probably better and it has a pretty good multiplayer mode too.

Oh and yeah, just about anything with Mario in the title is pretty classic. Mario Golf and Mario Tennis are both great and severely underrated, IMHO.

Anyone play Mario Kart for Gamecube
^ You won't be disappointed if you keep in mind that Double Dash also supports co-op play. That is- one player can be the driver while the other acts as gunner. You can even switch positions at any time to take better advantage of weapon loadouts. In total, Double Dash is probably best known as "the thinking man's Mario Kart".
