Targeted in America
Thanks for the reply, TNT737373. When I said more people now believe our story it's because of the accumulation of evidence we have and not just because of our level-headed demeanor. Much of this evidence I haven't even shared here yet but I'm sure I eventually will; my hope is to tie it all together with the observations of that brilliant mathematician I made mention of earlier.

Here in the United States daily events are much more bizarre than the ramblings of Alex Jones. We've had a mass shooting in Colorado which those who don't usually fall prey to conspiracy theories find troubling for its inconsistencies. More recently, our ambassador to Libya was killed which even has the most sensible of US citizens curious as to why he wasn't better protected on the anniversary of September 11th. To top that off, we're getting conflicting stories as to how poor Ambassador Stevens was killed- with Faux News going as far as to say that he was raped and then dragged through the streets before being executed. :o

Yes, these are strange times indeed for the United States of America as the use of COINTELPRO tactics have been confirmed against two reporters of The USA Today newspaper. Also, a US marine recently fell victim to another COINTELPRO technique of discrediting (via psychiatric reprisal) when he was merely exercising his First Amendment right of Freedom of Speech. Granted, what the marine wrote sounded inflammatory but really no more so than what Sean Hannity or Rachel Maddow spout every night on their respective television shows. Nonetheless, the marine was later vindicated when public outrage got him released (rescued) from the psych ward. Please note that the marine in question wasn't anyone special or important either yet evidence points to his restraint as being unconstitutional and vindictive.

To better understand the psychology of what I was subjected to at work (before my co-worker and former Union steward informed me was Government directed harassment) and what is now, in expanded form, being used against me and Cathie I strongly suggest reading this book.

Mobbing: Emotional Abuse in the American Workplace

* Please be aware that before I was informed that the US Federal Government was the source of my psychological harassment I reached out to one of the authors of this book one Mrs. Gail Pursell Elliott for advice.

Ok so Cathie and I went to the park today so she could do a little physical therapy and when we got back to my car it had been hit. Fortunately the driver of the other vehicle left a note admitting fault. He does have insurance which should at least make the overall experience of getting my 2007 Honda Civic repaired a little less of a hassle.

Many people have been commenting on what Cathie and I are experiencing as targets of government harassment. When we first started sharing our story there was a healthy dose of skepticism but as time has gone by we're no longer getting any of that. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that the pendulum has swung the other way and now most people are scared because they believe our story completely.

We had dinner with one of my childhood friends Doug and his friend Ken the other night. Afterwards, Ken mentioned to Doug that after seeing how level headed both Cathie and I are he's certain that we're neither delusional nor paranoid when interpreting our experiences.

Cathie and I are driving up to the Washington, DC area this weekend for her high school reunion. If we make it back it one piece I have a ton of information to share. Of special note is some advice I received when reaching out to a very famous American patriot and mathematician. He helped put much of our plight in perspective so pray that we make it back so I can tell you what he said...

Watcha Listenin' To?
This one's pretty catchy...

Pumped up Kicks- Foster the People

Robert's got a quick hand.
He'll look around the room, he won't tell you his plan.
He's got a rolled cigarette, hanging out his mouth he's a cowboy kid.
Yeah, he found a six shooter gun.
In his dad's closet hidden in a box of fun things, and I don't even know what.
But he's coming for you, yeah he's coming for you.

[Chorus: x2]
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, outrun my gun.
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, faster than my bullet.

Daddy works a long day.
He be coming home late, yeah he's coming home late.
And he's bringing me his dark surprise.
'Cause dinner's in the kitchen and it's packed in ice.
I've waited for a long time.
Yeah the sleight of my hand is now a quick-pull trigger,
I reason with my cigarette,
And say your hair's on fire, you must have lost your wits, yeah.

[Chorus: x2]
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, outrun my gun.
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, faster than my bullet.

[Chorus: x3]
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, outrun my gun.
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, faster than my bullet.

Congrats again Clarky! There's just something about being in a printed magazine that's superior to being featured on a website. Sorta like how it's better to own a tangible hard copy of a game versus just having it loaded on a hard-drive. At least that's how I feel.

It appears that the frame of the Corolla was out of alignment and the rear quarter panels were crushed so the insurance company opted to just total the vehicle. Fortunately Toyotas hold their value well so we got a respectable settlement.

Thanks to all for your concern for Cathie. We're both touched at the sympathetic responses. She's really quite a special person and I'm very grateful that she wasn't more seriously injured.

Sorry for the hiatus but Cathie was in a bad car accident Monday night September 10th while on her way home from having dinner with her friends. Our mint condition 2005 Toyota Corolla has been deemed a total loss and Cathie is working her way through her injuries. The driver who struck Cathie was charged with failure to control speed and actually hit our Corolla so hard as to drive it in to the car in front of it. Here are photos.

The collectors are the only ones that suffer, after the hard work they put into keeping things in nice condition.
There's a great lesson to be learned here and that is to only collect what you really enjoy playing.

I've had a good time with both Killer Instinct games so I have no regrets about owning the cartridges. In fact, I'm hoping that all the time I'm putting in to KI Gold will be rewarded if and when the game finds its way to XBLA.

In the meantime, if anyone would like to download the KIG soundtrack for free you can do so from the link below. Overall the tunes aren't as good as the original KI's music but the price is right so who cares. :P

Congrats! Just remember what Puff Daddy said, "mo money mo problems". ;)

No Mortal Kombat 4 Grizz!? that's a sin. :o
Nah, after MK3 I was pretty much done with the series. I was playing tons of Armored Core at the time and when I wanted to satiate my fighting game appetite I usually turned to Soul Blade on the PSX.

Ironically, Super Street Fighter IV rekindled the fire in my heart for fighting games thanks to its brilliant on-line play.

Collection Help
I'd start with CIB copies of your favorite games. You should always start collecting something that holds sentimental value as you never know when the bottom is going to drop out on the market.

I hate to say it, but re-releases usually lower the value of the original games, in my experience.

I reckon it truly has become a digital distribution world.

Could Killer Instinct 2 HD Remix be coming to Xbox Live Arcade?

Fans have been begging for the Killer Instinct games to be ported to XBLA with improved graphics and on-line support since Perfect Dark got that treatment. Let's hope it's finally going to happen or better still maybe even a whole new installment in the franchise.

Question for collectors: Will rereleases of the KI games up the prices of the original cartridges?

Yeah that's the really rare Sculptor's Cut version of Clay Fighter next to the guilty pleasure that is Mace: The Dark Age.

Killer Instinct Gold is at the top because I consider it the best of the bunch.

Oh, and yeah, I own a copy of Transformers Beast Wars TransMetals although I've hardly played it.

You can also try to melt a big pen with a lighter, then quickly put the pen on the screw.
Some people use this technique for opening the console.

I completed the first circuit of SWE1R today with El Quadinaros today. It was fun experiencing tracks I've raced numerous times before in a new way. El Q was very precise once i got the hang of steering.

I did complete one addition race with EL Q functioning as only a player one controller. That was fun too--its massive width was definitively accentuated!

Clarky did an outstanding job with El Q, thanks again man!

Bluedog, you know you gotta do a full review of that incredible controller!

Put a name to the name
My real name is Pedro although I've gone by Peter most of my life. Most people just call me Pete.

I go back to the three letter high score arcade days too but back then I was known as REX. I used that because it stands for king in Latin like in Tyrannosaurus Rex meaning King of the Tyrant Lizards.

s-vdeo on n64
Yes I notice a difference between S-Video and composite. Enough of difference to make it worthwhile to hunt down an S-Video cable if you don't already own one.

Wii U And 3DS Screenshots From E3 2012
I'll be waiting for either an F-Zero, Mario Kart or Smash Bros. game before I pick up the console.

Wii U And 3DS Screenshots From E3 2012
I'm happy to hear that all Wii accessories and peripherals will be compatible with the Wii U!

However, doesn't $299 seem a little steep in this economy?

I brought a rumble pack from Ebay, when it turned up it had batteries had leaked inside. Swapping the batteries out didnt fix it so maybe this mod will.

Can someone confirm that i will need a GAMEBIT 3.8mm?
This was also my motivation for modifying a Rumble Pak. The acid from the batteries had damaged the unit so I felt I had nothing to lose by performing the mod. Lo and behold the Rumble Pak worked brilliantly afterwards.

The gamebit necessary to open the Rumble Pak is indeed the same one used to open N64 cartridges 3.8mm.
