I wanted to bump this topic because I finally gave in and decided to buy the gold controller and nunchuk. Here is a pic of the set (from the seller's eBay listing, I haven't received them yet):

Everyone here knows me as someone who collects N64 controllers but I'm beginning to start looking at some of the Wii collectible peripherals too... at least the gold ones. Next up: the gold wheel. I already have the Zelda set with the gold Wii-mote (still sealed in box of course).
OMG that's so pretty. that's the kind of things i'd like to get one day !

What exactly is the rarest n64 game?
why we all show some PAL variation, release and all. why dont we dont build a full PAL/NTSC database will all cart/manual/box variatons that can posibly exist. i mean, when i come across a forum dedicated to a specific console, i search for a database that could lead me to the full catalogue. yes, there,s several places to check that, but the amount of knowlegde around here is insane, especially in the PAL land since we forget them.

does the site could support something like that ?

I work for Cisco and know exactly what you're talking about but like I said, those types of routers aren't typical in the commercial/residential homes. Cisco does make their sub-brand "Linksys" which everyone and their mom knows about and probably has at home.
you're a lucky man. i swear by Linksys router product since 10 years and never had a single problem. last year, i installed a custom firmware for my WRT54G wireless router and god it boosted the wifi signal enough to be able to get full signal at the farthest side of the apt. while before i barely had any.

gotta love those small device !

yeah what brand is it ? what model ? it could help so we could try and fix it :P

Japanese Box Protectors
im probably wrong. no idea why i have 96 in my heads, lol

disconnect it for couple of mins, it should do the trick. you should be able to regain access. next time, DONT use Wifi unless you really need it and shut off the SSID Broadcast.

Games you've finished in 2012
finally did something long overdue.

Lego Rock Band FGFC on Guitar Easy/Medium
Lego Rock Band FGFC on Bass Easy/Medium/Hard
Lego Rock Band Guitar Hard 44/45 (missing Short And Sweet)

working on Guitar Hero Van Halen Bass Easy/Medium right now and also Toy Story 2 on n64 !

Japanese Box Protectors
i've been asking him for some Japanese protector ever since i've discovered his website. he's on nintendoage by jimpoleshuk and his thread as some people asking for him but the minimum quantity is like 5000 units to make it worth doing it. with only 96 japanese exclusive, which most us are not specifically collecting, i dont think it'll ever happen. of course if there's any made, im defenetaly in for 200+ since i'll go for the Japanese full set one day, so better be prepared.

There has been several CIBs of Nushi Tsuri 64: Shiokaze Ninotte on ebay not too long ago, one went cheap too (under $20).
link ? beacuse completed listing results in 0 item sold for "Nushi Tsuri"

EDIT: here's one http://www.ebay.com/itm/NUSHIZURI-64-Shiokaze-ni-Notte-NUSHI-ZURI-JP-IMPORT-JAPAN-N64-4988110900518-/230764147754?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35ba9d742a

and as i thought it would be, spelling error is probably why i never find this one

I have both Nushi Tsuri 64 and Nushi Tsuri 64: Shiokaze Ninotte, both CIB and in great condition, didnt realise it was rare, i was lucky enough to find them both in New Zealand, i think i only paid $45 for three CIB NTSC-J games :yeah:
new zealand ?? wow, you're very lucky lol if you find another some of these, im sure people here or even ebay would be VERY interested !

What exactly is the rarest n64 game?
Getter Love at 60$ ??? thats f**king insane. there was copy all week of these 4 years ago for 20-25$....should have snatched them.

i also think Nushi Tsuri (the last one Finngamer needed) is rare as f**k. i have seen a single loose copy in the LAST 4 years and none CIB on ebay. i bet some japanese auction site have it tho. i wish it could be easier/cheaper to import stuff from Japan.

Buying a Collection. Input?
be sure to takes lots of pics and show us this HUGE purchase.

I guess I have to order one to see if it's for real

if it is real (and not too expensive), can you get one for me too?
if its that hard to find and not higly overpriced, i might get it now as well to start off a PAL collection and knock down the hard one as well.

How does this keep happening?
im glad i avoid for video games, no pics makes me nervous buying there.

OT: i love the pic's background :P
