If I were her son, I'd be pissed.
you know what. his son actually knew about it. when she asked if it was ok to throw them up, he said no, someone will want that s**t. that lady was such lovely.

Guess the Game!

everythings is in such good condition, its incredible. i can't thank enough the lady who sent me all of this for FREE. even shipping ! she was cleaning up her closet and his son had all of this back in the glory days. she was about to throw everything up in the recycle bin until she posted it on Kijiji, the ad was on 150+ visit and thought everything was gone. hell no, everything was still there. the only drawback si there's no cartridge, only box + manual, everything is there. this is such a good start and makes want to complet the set right now. im not diggin the GBC stuff but i know everyting will have a value one day. so since i got 'em all for free, i'll keep 'em unless someone offer some considerable money on it.

oh gosh. now i need some hard plastic protector !!

sold a CIB copy of Smash Bros Melee (NGC) and made a nice profit. It may be wishful thinking but i think the Gamecube is starting to get some retro-love
Gamecube games are hard to find here compare to ps1/ps2.

Happy Anniversary
i do remember Mario Kart 64 being 109$ brand new, DKC1-2-3 on the SNES 129,99$ at launch date. that was way too much money for a game.

Since I've always loved all things Japanese I tend to favor Honda. I'm really impressed with the quality of my 2007 Honda Civic coupe and the thing gets incredible gas mileage. If I was wealthier I'd probably add an Acura NSX to my stable because I've heard those babies are amazingly fast. Honda gets a great amount of horsepower out of its all aluminum 24 valve V6 and since the car is so light it has the power-to-weight ratio of a V12 Ferrari.
an NSX will never follow a Ferrari. the low end torque of the Ferrari will crush it. all honda power are High rev because of their smaller engine. gas for gas, you'll get better mileage in the NSX, but at this price range, sorry, but you dont give a s**t about gas !

I kinda get the feeling that those CSX-T's are not going to be collectable in the same way as the Hertz 'Stangs are :D
I'm certain you're correct because the Dodge Shadow was never as popular as the Ford Mustang. Nonetheless, many lessons about collecting can be learned from these rental special editions and those lessons can be applied to Sculptor's Cut. There's no arguing the point, however, that if Nintendo had only released 20,000 Blockbuster Video rental exclusive Super Smash Bros. cartridges (as opposed to 2,000,000 retail) it would be infinitely more valuable than Sculptor's Cut is today.

Here's a little paradox, I believe my Sculptor's Cut cartridge which has a Blockbuster Video rental label on the back is worth more than one without it. Why? Well, because my copy affirms its history and legitimacy thanks to that little tag.

Also, when it comes to cars, almost NOTHING from the 80's is worth collecting much :D
Toyota AE86 Levin. you own one, better take care of it and treat it like a baby and not get it on the track to destroy it. these baby are and will be valuable alot.

The voice of reason in the US debt debate
i may sounds like a jerk, but why dont you move where the job is ? in a global economy like today, there's absolutely no reason to stay at one place more than another one. especially if there's no job and your going bankrupt because of it.

Club Nintendo Codes
where are those codes written btw ? never paid attention to it.

You could also try searching on MegauploadForum. I stopped using torrents since they do in fact track you. I got hit with a $10,000 fine for downloading Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. What sucks is that when I downloaded it, I already had the game burnt to a disc but forgot about it >_<

Anywho, we just played dumb on the phone and acted like we don't even know how to use a computer. We were like, "is it possible the kid next door could have been stealing our internets?"
i hope you didnt pay it and the dumb play worked. that seriously suck. i use torrent all the time and i dont really pay atention and always read the comments. if one has "i got tracked by my ISP" is written, i'll just choose another one.

with that much games, i would seriously try and complete the set. you probably have like 70-80% of it.

Worst customer service on Amazon ever!!!
this crushed box was probably done a very long time ago and not be her by any means. when n64 games were thrown away, they were placed in bins like walmart is doing with the 360/ps3/wii but those are hard plastic cases, not cheap cardboard that get crushed by looking at it.

so all in all, bit the dust, keep it, and next time learn from your error. ask photos !

Thanks to Cabanon I am now the proud owner of a CIB copy of Chou-Kuukan Night Pro Yakyuu King (King of Pro Baseball).

Posted Image

I played a little and it's much more fun than Major League Baseball featuring Ken Griffey JR. The only problem is that it is very heavy on Japanese text so it's gonna take me a while to get the hang of everything.

Now there's just one more Japanese game that I need to add to my collection and I'll have just about every N64 game I want. ;)
glad you got your package Grizz ! was the box enough padded ? what game are you missing ?

here's my Mario Kart series CIB collection along with some of my MK toys. Note the Mario Kart Wii pack-in edition.
One of the GBA games is a bootleg / fake. Can you tell which one? Hint: the clue is clearly invisible.

Damn dude. I paid $3.85 for mine. You really know how to reel in the deals!
X_D

Yeah sometimes I walk in to some pretty good deals. Hey, expanding on your pun, didn't Bass Hunter 64 use some sort of fishing rod peripheral?
yeah you could, the Tsuricon controller.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASCII-Nintendo-64-Tsuri-Fishing-Controller-Game-JAPAN-/180714799084?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a1370ffec

dunno if it works with every fishing games tho.
