Clay Fighter 63 1/3
Posted ImageIt's the classic SNES comical fighting game- revisited; N64 style.
The interactive backgrounds and bevy of playable characters are just the tip of the clay-shapen iceburg for this Interplay title...

The real trick is the complex learning curve in pulling off moves and Killer Instinct-esque combos, but when done right, is a thing of beauty!
Like any sculpture- practice makes perfect.
"Sugar"!

SCORE: 6 1/3

what's crazy is that i remember playing this game with my friends at software etc. at the N64 kiosk one night...

what does that mean??

I nom (ALL N64 variations),

The amount of work that went into it is astounding! I can appreciate the man hours it took, it reminds me of Micro Machines madness- which was exciting to see come together. Vinyl should be proud!

And consideration goes to (Watcha listening to?)- My favorite place to frequent. It resembles a cross-section of us all.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy

Tetris 64
Posted ImageOne cannot consider themself a gamer if they haven't played a TETRIS game before. The classic shape stacking frenzy set to upbeat music...so what's different?
Seta nails it in this Japan only title with all new game modes like GIGA TETRIS, multiplayer, endless scenery, and with the BIO-SENSOR, the game speed is controlled by your heart rate!!
An absolute block busting experience!

SCORE: 7.5/10

2014 Awards: Pimp My N64
I am curious to see who takes this one home.
It should be close between Zoki64 and sanni- They both exhibit amazing talents, as well as superior knowledge and know how. :yeah:

However my nom goes out to a newcomer, Super Joker!

I was taken back by his M&L themed N64 consoles, they had the precise look and design that i would look for in my own work- (as if Nintendo made them)

Edit: i would also like to give BDR a shout... i'm not sure when it was exactly, but his "plug swap" on his Daiei controller was incredible! I NEVER would have thought it was even possible. Very inspiring. Cheers!

May the best mod win

Happy Holidays 2014
and my belated christmas card to everyone.

What color(s) would you have liked to have seen from Nintendo?
Here ya go LG,

NINTENDO POWER- volume 80/January 1996

My theory is that this color was inspired by Kamek- the purple Koopa wizard, that was a playable character in MARIO KART R unfortunately they both did not make it.
Chances are he would have been a favored character- sigh :(
