What games are you playing?
See maybe thats why I didnt like AC3, i have no knowledge of American history and I found Conner to be a bit of a :cussfit: It also hard playing a game on the 3rd in the series as the modern day bits didnt make too much sence to me. The boating parts were the best though :bullet:

@Buddy: AC3 was my first (and likely only) attempt at a game of that genre. I sent a PM to a member here and was like WTH is going on . . . picking locks . . . walking . . . a few hours in and what, there's the title screen?!?!?

I realize how noobish those comments sound, but needless to say, the AC3 did not grab me.
Really enjoyed syndicate though. Maybe it was the setting that appealed to me. I also brought black flag which wasn't cheap (collectors edition) so hopefully that ones better.

What games are you playing?
PLaying through assassins creed 3. After beating Syndicate thought I'd go back to some of the older games and play those for the first time too and I have to say I am so bored of this one. About 10 hours in and I cant wait to finish it lol. I wish I didnt feel like I have to finish every game I own/start.

Japanese Rumble Pak on a North American system?
Ah I thought there was a thread on here somewhere.

Japanese Rumble Pak on a North American system?
There's a mod to make the rumble back work batteries free using power from the N64. Soldering a simple wire in the correct place on the rumble pack is all you have to do. You can only use one modified pak (safely) at a time though so no multi player.

Just finished RE DS for the Ds which I thought was a really good port of one of my favorite games. It has a "Rebirth" mode which adds in extra puzzles and some touch screen battles in places which are a bit annoying until you get the hang of them but then become boring.

External drive for Wii U
I got a 500 GB one with a Y cable for mine, did the research before buying with all the warnings of using powered ones but I havent had any trouble and like you power outlets are hard to come by in my room.

It still seems like a strange discussion from Nintendo to not include a bigger HDD, 32GB is never enough.

Trouble Solder the wires to the N64 Cartridge
What thinkness of solder is recommended for this type of job or any job that involves replacing capacitors etc?

What is your first memory of the Nintendo 64
My first memory is going around a friends house to play some 007 licence game at the age of 14, thought it would be rubbish. Went home after that weekend and ordered my own N64 with X_D First console I ever brought and paid for myself with my 15 a week paper round. It was brought through one of my mums catalogues where you can buy stuff for more than its worth and take years to pay back

Best money I ever spent though as I have had so money great memories with my brother and friends playing all the classics. To me its still the best console I've ever owned and probably always will be although the megadrive is pretty close.

NX to Resemble the N64?
I may not look like the N64 but maybe the NX and the N64 will have something in common after all

Managed to complete a couple of Megadrive games this past week. I've never played rocket knight before but saw it on a Youtube video and picked it up. I think it has to be one of my favourite megadrive games, really enjoyed the gameplay,it was challenging but fair, a game you can get a little further in each time you play. Anyone who likes platformers should pick this up.

Robocop Vs Terminator is a game I've been playing since I was a kid but I've never completed it. Got to the last boss lots of times but he always beat me so even though I feel bad about it I played it through on easy mode this time and finished lol. At least its another off the list and a great game.

Humble Bundle
I went for the $1 deal as I've been looking for a couple of new games on the 3DS, :yeah:
