Here we go! Watermelon blister just hit eBay

Well, I'm hoping one of you caught this one. Some outlet ebay account had one for only $400 on the 25th. Here

Of course it sold right away :(

Absolute steal based on how much they usually go for. Still a lot of money though. :-/

Would You Rather . . .
That's a pretty tough one KG. I would rather keep one and play one (Goldeneye 007). It would be very hard but the thought of not being able to play that ever again is worse than having to part with the rest of my collection, believe it or not.

Would you rather have to eat a bath full of Haribo sweets or drink a bath full of melted chocolate to save your life?

Just crazy monies. Imagine if there was a box of them somewhere that never got sold....

Amazon Prime: End of an Era?
Ah man I feel your pain. As if two horrid (to be polite) presidential candidates wasn't bad enough...

Hopefully it's only temporary BDR. It won't be long until a drone will be delivering your order within the hour... :w00t:

Bungee Jump. I really want to go to Switzerland you can do a jump off the Goldeneye Dam. It is actually quite a popular tourist attraction there, and I believe like the second or third highest place to do a bungee jump in the world. It's called the Verzasca Dam / Contra Dam. Looks epic. Exactly like the film / game. Would be amazing just being there nevermind the feeling when you're flying off it.

Would you rather a trip to Maya Bay (Phi Phi Island from the film "The Beach") or a trip to Sydney, Australia?

What are you doing RIGHT NOW?!?!

If you can carve your avatar into a pumpkin, you will achieve hero status here :w00t:
Much as I would love to take this on, with hero status being what is at stake here, I don't think my better half would approve of me destroying the pumpkin trying to carve out 007. Perhaps I should go and buy another one and attempt it though! Hmmmm food for thought. :w00t:

What are you doing RIGHT NOW?!?!
Fortunately I put a capital F on "Friends" so hoping people would gather that I meant the TV series.

Right now, I am trying to decide what to have for tea. Also looking on the internet for pumpkin design ideas.

Would You Rather . . .
Kanye West for a change. I saw Bieber amongst many other artists at the Capital FM ball in 2012 and he was nothing special, and if anything now, infinitely more annoying.

Who would you rather sleep get a kiss from Monica or Rachel?

What are you doing RIGHT NOW?!?!
Just in bed watching Friends with the better half and our pooch. Had the family over for a meal so feeling a bit exhausted myself after having played host.

Nice man real nice. Just an absolute fortune for what it is. Hopefully it goes to a good home. >_>

Another-nother Goldeneye Challenge
Nice.

Get that video up I want to see your line. New time below. I can definitely get sub 3:00 I was a bit sloppy. The only way to get this sort of time is to literally run and laser watch the whole Train. I also had to use Solitaire button configuration.

Nice DJC! I have to confess I did cheat in so much as that I watched a Train speedrun on YouTube, and as you expected, use of the watch laser is how you can zap your way through this level at speed.

Unfortunately, at least now, doing this is out of my league I kept on dieing well before in like carriage 2 or 3 all bar one attempt where I made it to the penultimate carriage so I guess it is just being cute and avoiding guards hitting you with shots. Anyway, giving up on this approach I decided to shoot my way as normal through the first few carriages and then switch to the watch laser for the next few. In doing so, I managed to get the time below on the first completed attempt using this approach.

Here's to more sleepless nights and destroyed joysticks trying to own Train.

Toughest video game character
Interesting topic.

Guy: Bond...James Bond (Goldeneye)

Gal: Jill Valentine (Resident Evil)

007 because who else could shoot their way through a train full of armed guards unscathed? Or take on a whole host of security guards on Control?

Jill... well enough said some of the Resident Evil survivor horror games are really scary and daunting if you imagine yourself actually in that situation, especially Resident Evil 1. I think Jill is very much up there!

November Game of the Month Vote Off
Toy Story 2 for me. I love this game. I really wish it had cart save functionality, but otherwise it is a very good play through and holds up well to the PlayStation counterpart. Not sure what the Dreamcast version is like.

:n64:

Another-nother Goldeneye Challenge
Have a go at Train DJC I want to try get my time down on that but my motivation will only come if you manage to beat my time. Remember use some watch laser bolts to kill enemies quicker...

:yeah:

Another-nother Goldeneye Challenge
Had a go on Statue earlier. First attempt below. Pretty poor but a starting point for me. 'Need to improve my line I think. The box also was a bit further away than it could have been although not as far as it can be from memory...

Welcome to the forum dude. Sounds interesting. Keep us updated with your progress.

The Nintendo Switch Topic
Pretty good summary that KG. Of course it's still early days but just to echo my main gripe is the handheld aspect and ultimatelty as I said before what did for the Wii U for me. There is no need to tap into that market as well. Surely Nintendo know from the good old days that people are prepared to have a GameBoy and an N64, therefore two potential income streams. No need to merge it. I guess they are trying to be unique, more niche, because Microsoft and Sony are so far out of sight when it comes to pure outright gaming machines.

The Collection of Fries
Imagine finding a Sculptor's cut advent calendar!

Nice stuff man.

The Nintendo Switch Topic
Looks interesting. Definitely unique. Really I'd have preferred an out right gaming machine but unfortunately Microsoft and Sony have kind of bullied Nintendo out of that field.

I had a Wii U for a very short period and whilst the games I found were really good, the chunky remote etc I personally felt let it down so shifted it on. I know some like it and to each their own. It just isn't for me. It will probably be the case with this gen as well but I should keep an open mind.
