TAKE THE STAGE !!!
Well since it's January 31st 2017 the deadline for our point total is almost gone, so here's is all the games I've played in January for one last little push

51. Golden Nugget 64 - reached veteran status by earning $1,000,000
52. Mario Party - played my first 2 games, 1 on Yoshi Island which I lost, and one on Dk Jungle which I won. No items? No random blocks? Working together in minigames? This game is freaking me out man.
53. Transformers Beast Wars - Beat the seceret final boss in arcade mode
54. Kirby 64 - played the first level of Popstar
55. Worms Armageddon - Beat all the single player missions
56. Wonder Project J2 - Completed 100%
57. Mortal Kombat Mythologies - Beat 1 and 3/4 times
58. Rakuga Kids - cleared story mode with Captain.Cat.Kit
59. Powerpuff Grills - Beat it
60. Mace The Dark Age - Beat it
61. Nuclear Strike 64 - Beat it
62. Super Bowling - Beat it
63. Brunswick Pro Circut Bowling - No one wants to be defeated Posted Image <--This should be an emoticon
64. Tetrisphere - I think this one is winning game of the month so I played a few stages trying to learn how to actually play it. Still confusing

Woah  Did any one notice that my total is 64, and that the Nintendo 64 is 64 bits!? Crazy coincidence huh?

Edit: actually no I forgot one. I beat Rayman 2 like 3 days ago so my total is 65. What a bummer
http://s9.zetaboards.com/Nintendo_64_Forever/single/?p=10004781&t=420579

Either that game is really forgettable or I play too much n64

Another edit: yay my total actually is 64 because I played it back in December for this very thread. I guess Rayman 2 is forgettable. It's definatly not my fault for playing too many games.

Wii discussion
My Wii that we've had since 2007 thankfully still has no issue with GameCube games. That might be because I use my GameCube mostly for nostalgia reasons. I love the startup and menu screens, plus the weird loading noises it makes. There are so many Wii games I want to play but I can never find them and I'm caught up in the moment with n64 stuff. I just played Sin&Punishment and would love to find the sequel, that and Zack & Wiki are 2 games I want before they start getting expensive

Games You've Finished in 2017
My last 2 games for January are 2 N64 Bowling games I did for the beat em all, Brunswick Pro Circut Bowling and Super Bowling. It saddens me that Super Bowling is only known for being rare and expensive because it's actually a fun game, my favorite of the 3 Nintendo 64 Bowling games in fact.

I also updated my RE7 status to 100% since, through a joint effort with my cousin, we unlocked all the achievements in the game which required us to play the game 4 times. During that time we had to beat it in under four hours ( we got something like 2 hours 25 minutes, ridiculously easy ) and I realized that this game only has an hour and a half of good content in the middle of the game, but the beginning and ending sections bog it down. I desperately hope the dlc (which I didn't have to pay for ^_^ ) has more of the good stuff

N64 good quality videos, pics and GIFs
If you want easy gifs for n64 games I've found that Tumblr is a surprisingly good resource. Just search a game and no matter how obscure it is you will usually get at least a few nice gifs.

http://n64thstreet.com/archive

N64thStreet has a whole account which is nothing but hundreds upon hundreds Nintendo 64 gifs and magazine scans for practically every game you can imagine. Look through his archive sometime and I'm sure you'll find some useful stuff. Hope this helps

So. I`m going to the Rare ltd office ...
Epic! The Kinect Sports console sounds cool but I'd be more excited about seeing Twelve Tales up close. I'd like to think they just have it sitting in an n64 hooked up to a CRT. Maybe you can ask why they haven't released it yet not even on Rare Replay. Haha don't force it though I'm just curious what they ever plan to do with it. Have a good time mate! You're living out some 90's kids wild fantasy.

N64Forever Beats 'Em All!
After maybe 3 hours not including my Bowling research and an hours worth of failed attempts I finished 1st in a tournament in Brunswick Pro Circut Bowling. I consider this beat since the credits are viewable through the options menu, there are no unlockables, and all the tournaments are the same so playing them all would be overkill. Hopefully that sounds fair.

Now the hard decision of which game I'll do next...

N64Forever Beats 'Em All!
Thanks Italia. Sometimes I try to cut down what I say because I'm afraid I ramble or I go on so long people won't want to read my opinions but if you or anyone else ever want to hear me go into more depth about something just ask. Something I wanted to mention more was how nice the soundtrack in Super Bowling is, this track in particular sounds like it is almost ripped straight from some Super Nintendo RPG

So ladies and gentlemen I have had a breakthrough in Brunswick Pro Circut Bowling. I have scowered the Internet watching professional bowlers and listening to how to get strikes and line up splits and all I have to say is I have a newfound respect for how difficult Bowling truly is. Through my journey's I now believe I have what it takes to become a professional virtual bowler, not a real bowler since I have the wrists of an 80 year old. So here it is.

Brunswick Pro Circut Bowling: How to Bowl a perfect strike nearly everytime!

Step 1 Pick the Speed Zone ball and set it to maximum spin, using a right handed bowler. I assume left handed bowler will work the same way, just reverse the directions of everything I say.

Posted Image

Step 2 See this preview image of the lane. Move the ball until it is touching the gutter, then move it one more notch to right. At this point the preview line showing the balls path should be aiming directly at the first pin, though it may look like it is aiming slightly to the right side of the pin.
Posted Image

Step 3 Make sure to line up the power and accuracy bars as close to the green bar as possible and let er roll! With any luck your score will look something like this.
Posted Image

Of course strikes won't always occur due to the unpredictable nature of the laws of physics but it's a tride and true tested method used by all professional bowlers. Now I'm off to conquer the big leagues!

Edit: oh yes and this is on the Desert Classic Tournament. Since each lane has different oil patterns I can't guarantee this works as well on other lanes but it generally seems to be a safe bet. Weird that I decided to go into depth for this game of all games, but if anyone is ever forced to play this game I hope it helps out.

Wii discussion
If only the Wii had the Gamecube's revolutionary handle you wouldn't need a carrying case for it. You would only need a case for the games, Wii-motes, GameCube Controllers, hook ups, batteries, and all manner of plastic accessories.

It's very nice deal nonetheless especially with the Wii included. I haven't played Project M since they came out with that final update and I really should. I remember trying to play brawl again after Project M and realized it's like playing in an anti gravity chamber

N64Forever Beats 'Em All!
Super Bowling is done. The way I beat the game was by completing the acquisition mode, whereby you unlock characters and lanes by winning a best 2 out of 3 Bowling match with an opponent. Very easy and only took me an hour and a half to unlock all 6 unlockable characters and lanes.

If you throw the ball in the same way everytime, the pins will always do the same animation, so it doesn't have a realistic physics engine for the pins as Brunswick Pro Circut Bowling but the pins do still feel like they react as they should. The accuracy meter you see in most Bowling games is here but it takes some time getting used to because it moves so quickly but once you do this game is very easy. The n64 has 3 different Bowling games all with different strengths and weaknesses but I'd say this one is my favorite for how easy and relaxing the music is. The game also has golf type mode where you are scored based on how many throws it takes you to clear certain pin setups and in the multiplayer you can fight to drain your opponents health by bowling better than them so it's got some nice game mode variety too.

The game has some weird characters and lanes too. The river lane is cool because the lane starts in grass, then drops down into a river where the pins are and there are rocks on the sides so a gutter ball is impossible. Very unique lane type.

I'm still working on Brunswick Pro Circuit Bowling, that might take a while because this game is heavily reliant on luck because the pins are so realistic. Every time I think I have a method for getting strikes down it stops working and the game expects you to score in the high 200's just to qualify for the tournament finals. It really was made for pros.
