I am starting to geek out on Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies. All covers, all the time. Here is an example why:

The question I cannot answer is: Who is the joke on?
--The artists that made "inferior" versions of "their" songs popular?
--The punk-ish audience signing along to pop standards?
--Fat Mike and his tatooed co-horts playing pop standards?

It's got to be on someone, because there is such humor infused throughout. Anyway, it's just plain fun if you love rocked out and over-the-top covers . . . .

My ex really likes this band. Me First and the Gimme Gimmies played a small show here over the summer. I noticed on her facebook that she attended. I also noticed that her boyfriend got his lights knocked out and ended up with a horrible black eye at the show as well.

... Nice! X_D

I think you blew my eardrums out just now. I don't know too many sound systems that can handle that kind of mayhem on full blast!
It is decent though.

20 years after the fact, I picked up the Dropkick Murphy's first album, Do or Die. Try not to chant along to Barroom Hero:

Even though I'm not in to the 420 experience myself, I still find this song entertaining. :)

Cypress Hill - Hits from the Bong

If marijuana became legal in my State I still wouldn't use it because they drug test in my industry. Also, my extensive research in to the world neurology has confirmed that the psychotropic constituent in pot Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) can have long term detrimental effects on the brain. Besides, I don't need to get high on weed because video gaming is all the stimulant my body can take.

Chris Jericho's band, yes indeed. Haven't heard a lot of the music but as a big WWE fan I'm quite familiar.

He is sssoooo delish!!

They played near me a few months ago and I hung by the tour bus and meet everyone including chris!! Drool. We touched hands

Beside the fact I'm biased about y2j, their music is super good! Butch walker worked with them on a song, and we love him too.
ALso right now I'm listing to the spin cycle of the washing machine in the break room at work.

I doubt we have many if any 2pac fans here but Iíve always liked his music 🎧. After watching ďAll Eyez On MeĒ a movie about his life and incidentally an album he released of the same name whilst at Death Row Records, I havenít stopped listening to his music, raps. Great hip hop artist taken way too soon and was pleasing to hear he got a place in the Hip Hop hall of fame last year, the first year of being eligible. Had his discography on my computer for years and years itís amazing the amount of songs and albums he churned out all by age 25, never mind making movies etc as well...
