It's not bad, but I think you could do better if you bought one from eBay. |

Hi Spikie, welcome to Nintendo 64 Forever.
If you live in the UK and there's a Gamestation near you then I'd recommend paying them a visit. Although you might find a N64 a few quid cheaper on ebay the postage cost is normally at least a fiver so you actually end up paying more. For example: http://video-games.listings.ebay.co.uk/Con...ListingItemList Just now most of the N64's are selling for about £15 but postage varies from £5-£20!!! However, if you can find a N64 with quite a few decent games and a good postage price then you could get yourself a bargain. Gamestation can have other advantages over ebay apart from just the price. You'll be able to have a look at the console first to see what condition it's in and more importantly, you'll be able to test the controller too! Ask to feel the analogue stick, as they do wear down and can either feel lose or quite stiff and scratchy. Don't buy an expansion pak from Gamestation, though. They charge about £16 where as you should be able to find one on ebay for £10-£12. Hope that helps. |

Thanks for the help alxbly. I am looking forward to getting back in the n64 scene. I might get a wii first though. I think playing supermario 64 is better on n64 then ds and playing both the zeldas on n64 is better then gamecube (collectors edition) |

I've never played Super Mario 64 DS, but I thought the Gamecube Zelda games were alright. The controls don't feel as good as they do on a N64 controller but the graphics are slightly sharper... Guess I'm happy playing either version but I do prefer the N64 originals!
What N64 games do you think you'll be looking for? |

Well your pretty screwed in terms of fighting or simulation games. There's some great racing and action/adventure games though. Goldeneye Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Super Mario 64 Perfect Dark Pilotwings Conkers Bad Fur Day Banjo Kazooie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and/or Banjo Tooie Mario Kart 64 Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask Jet Force Gemini Shadow Man Star Wars Rogue Squadron Super Smash Bros Body Harvest Blast Corps Diddy Kong Racing Donkey Kong 64 F-Zero X San Francisco Rush 2049 Star Fox 64 Paper Mario Space Station Silicon Valley All the games alxbly mentioned are pretty much must-plays, but I'd suggest going for the ones I bolded first. Especially the Zeldas, Maio 64, Perfect Dark and Banjo Kazooie. |

That sounds like an good bundle. XC12 is probably XG2 (or Extreme G 2), which is a pretty good futuristic racer. What price are you hoping for? |
