Per alxbly's request, this is a list of all the quotes that have been featured in my signature, and will be continuously updated (maybe
 ).Also, if you have any quotes you want to share, post them here! They can be from anyone, anywhere. And yes, you can quote yourself. 1. “I’m probably the only one here who’s never even played a GameCube, yet own some of its software.” –floorcat, 10/20/06 The quote that started it all. Who else could've inspired something like this? 2. "I don't think I ever want to be a gold member. Remember, one of those perks is Rapueda naked..." –StYoung, 10/27/06 It isn't easy being a gold member. 3. “Didn't you play Toy Story 2, right through to the end? Did you get fussy about what you play before or after that?” –alxbly, 11/2/06 Directed at me, when I was complaining about a game. 4. “I am forever in your debt Mop_it_up. Without your invaluable information I would of gone through the rest of my life spelling ravioli wrong, both in singular and ploral form. You are now the greatest user of the internet ever, at least in my book, which is pretty popular. Popular enough to have a hit rap song based on it.” –StYoung. 11/10/06 StYoung must love his ravioli. 5. “I'll either sell [my dupes], or invent a weapon that fires N64 cartridges. Be careful about what you say or you may be the test target for my Cartridge-Chucker 9000.” –Mop_it_up, 11/16/06 This is where I shamelessly quote myself...  6. “Just as we have an unconscious impulse to believe we are the only person in the world, so too are we inclined to be self-centered about all collective bodies we belong to” –dagoss, 11/24/06 This quote fits dagoss to a T. It's one of my favourites. 7. “SUPER-HEAL Ness (sorry... Ness is totally my #2 Jiggly) errr... that almost doesn't sound right...” –floorcat, 11/30/06 From the Smash Hurt 'n Heal game, in response to me giving suggestions on who to use the Super Heal on. 8. “I’d like to thank everyone who sent in positive feedback about the name Wii. Both of you.” –Reggie, 12/8/06 This was the day the Wii launched in Europe. I became totally Wii-centric that week, with Wii aucthor icon, custom title, sig, etc. 9. "Your mom is an ideological construct!" -My sister, 12/16/06 This was during my sister's Christmas vacation. She put that on a shirt. 10. "There is NO Q in RAPUEDA... not even a silent one... just so we're clear on that." -floorcat, 12/29/06 One last futile attempt to teach me to spell. 11. "GOLDENEYE PWNS TEH N00B N64 GAMES THAT START WITH G." -StYoung, 1/12/07 Quoted for truth. 12. "If you look closely you'll see that the N64 closest to the Sega CD has been infected! This is how the Pikachu Edition N64 was born." -alxbly, 1/22/07 This one doesn't work as well taken out of context. There was a picture of some N64's, and you could see a glimpse of a Sega CD. Dagoss made a comment about hoping an N64 didn't get infected with "sucks" from the SCD. 13. "Wait -- is a gay fag a double negative? Would a gay fag be a straight person? Does that make me a gay fag? Oh no --" -dagoss, 1/29/07 Dagoss came out of the closet and stepped right back in. And now he's running for president. Vote Goss. 14. [MISSING] 15. "I don't need to be quoted by Mop again. He already has me on record as a "gay fag", and you know my opponent in the election is going to twist that into something bad!" -dagoss, 2/20/07 Dagoss worrying about his public image. 16. "Sometimes I get an uncontrollable urge to please people." -Mop_it_up, 2/26/07 This is what I said when I used the last quote due to popular demand. They also demanded this quote. 18. "I am hereby boycotting Gamespot for the piss-poor reviews of N64 games!" -dagoss, 3/5/07 Quoted for truth. 19. "Racer miniums offered various modalities of game, between which the possibility to create the own distances and to defy the friends on the tracks of the own dreams." -translation of Mini Racers, 3/21/07 This is one of those stupid little things that I found funny but probably shouldn't have. 20. "Cheer up alxbly! There're tons of things you can do when you're older than 30 that you usually can't do. Like, uhm, die...?" -StYoung, 3/25/07 St. Smacktalk dishes it out. 21. "A programmer is supposed to have a bit of an artist's, not capitalist's, mindset. And anyone who collects as a hobby, especially with video games, it's supposed to be about fun. This may all seem like idealist, hippie garbage, but whatever I guess." -Shiren Wonders, 4/2/07 I've always felt similar. 22. I just noticed GameFAQs is having a Greatest Video Game Quote contest, and you can nominate 10 different quotes! The only one I could think of right now is "I feel asleep!" which is currently in my sig. That means I can nominate 9 more! Can anyone think of any good game quotes? |
