Two corrections.

1, Conker's Bad Fur Day was self-published by Rareware (they could do this, as the Stamper brothers were the majority shareholders).

2, Conker's Bad Fur Day was mentioned in Nintendo Power, but only in upcoming games lists, never in an article or ad.

Rare also published Perfect Dark, for what it's worth the first M-rated Game Nintendo itself ever published was 2002's Eternal Darkness:Sanity's Requiem for the Gamecube, although they did publish Perfect Dark in Japan so you could count that, I suppose.
Are you sure about that? Nintendo promoted the heck out of PD in America.
