I feel dumb but how do you take a screen capture of your desktop?

Well, if you're on a PC, you can usually just press the "PrtScn" (Print Screen) key (usually on the top row on your keyboard), then it copies an image of your desktop onto your clipboard, which you can paste into any image editing program (i.e. Photoshop/Gimp/MSPaint/etc.)

For Mac, instead of "PrtScn" I think it is Apple+Shift+3.

Hope that helps!

Okay, hoping this worked. Thanks, floorcat, for the info. :yeah:
And yeah, I have a lot of clutter, but I like it that way. I like all of my PC games easily accessible and I'm sure I have a few things that I don't even need on my desktop but I never think to remove them.

How do you find anything :P

I just use Steam for managing all my games, Even if you didn't buy them there you can add them to your list and use chat etc in game

No should ever question anyone's desktop organization...
Because... no one's desktop could ever be as bad as this guy's!! (near the end)

(And if you're wondering, it's not actually real... everything was staged.)

Eh, I've always managed, but I have had a lot of people chastise me for the cluttered nature of my desktop over the years.

I didn't know you could do that with Steam but then I've never really done much with Steam or the games I've bought there. Perhaps, one day, I'll figure it all out. I'm pretty basic when it comes to my computer. Almost computer illiterate, as the old saying goes. I just use it for playing games and doing this internet thing. :shades:

Its honesty what I've found the best way to organise my game collection, I get it all into one list, can categorise, search etc.

If you want to try it out to add games you haven't got through Steam go to add a game in the bottom left then add a non-Steam game

I like that design scheme in the pillars there, Vinyl. And I'm so glad to see someone else with a lot of icons on their desktop screen! A lot of people gave me a hard time over mine awhile back. ;_;

Its been over a year since I shared my desktop and it has changed quite a bit. First of all, you can't deny how awesome the new background is. And the clutter finally became too unbearable so I cleaned it up quite a bit and I'm liking the tidiness.
