Hi everyone. I am new to N64 Forever and I love the N64. My son has a Gamecube and PS2, but he plays his N64 more than anything! We have been trying to collect ALL of the N64 games a little at a time.

welcome to the forum B)
that's cool your son plays so much 64. it is a great system. we have several collectors here.

i know one in particular, mop_it_up, is attemtping to collect every n64 game. he isn't to far off either. we may have others trying to, but i know he is for sure.

if you would like, check out our sister board, N64 Answers. there is a complete list of all american releases, as well as many other usefull bits of N64 information that may help you as you expand your collection.

a link for it is found at the bottom of the page.

Hooray Newbies!

It's nice to see another N64 collector! I think we've got 2 other users with the same goal: Deku Link and N64Gamer. How far along are you?

Thanks for the warm welcome all! Glad to see N64 fans like me. I have had the same 20-25 N64 games for about 5 years now (system I played back in the day). Then I gave them to my son when I thought he was old enough to play. (He is 6 now) He just fell in love with it, so in the past 6 months I have become obsessed with picking him up games. It started with just the GOOD games, like Mario, Banjo etc.... Then I started noticing how much some of these games were worth. Holy cow, I saw Mario Kart at a local game store for $35! The guy there said they sell 1 about every week. Crazy! Anyway, since I already had all of the good games by this point and figured what the hell I might as well get them all. There is only like 300 US games made, and I am already up to well over 100 games. about %30 of the games are sports anyway and they are really easy to find. (with the exception of ISS 2000). I was lucky enough to find that game last week. The guy didnt know what he had, and I felt kind of bad buying it for only $5. I started by getting the hard to find games first, then gradually picking up the cheaper ones here and there. I have been VERY lucky in finding these games, plus I have become friends with the local game store owner and he helps me out. The only Rare games I can't seem to get a hold of are Worms Armagedeon, The New Tetris and Ogre Battle. I just can't bring myself to paying $30-$50 for a game. I mostly just trade. About half of my collection has been accumulated from just trades. Anyway I am just rambling on here.... Thanks again everyone.

296 was the number that Mop and Floorcat decided on.

Wow, you'll be making Mop jealous. The last time we discussed that game I think it was selling for about $75! Sounds like you got a very good deal. :)

$79.50, to be exact. But that was a complete copy. Still though, $5 is pretty good. I hope I can find someone selling it who thinks all old sports games are worthless. Those are the best people to buy from... and the worst to sell to.

There are a few sports games that sell for more than $1 and can be a little harder to find, such as Madden 2002 and NFL Blitz 2001. There are also plenty of sealed copies of NFL Blitz Special Edition out there, so you could get one off eBay for less than $10 easily. Unfortunately, mine isn't sealed no more. :(
