Do you mean Uchhannanchan no Honou no Challenge: Denryuu IraIra Bou? Why, that's my favorite game! You can't spell "Uchhannanchan no Honou no Challenge: Denryuu IraIra Bou" without "hocanhanc no noy Die Die garu hono"! |

That's the one. So, your favorite beginning with V is.... I'm leaning towards Vigilante 8 Second Offense, but it's difficult to choose between the two Vigilante 8 games because I've not played either of them very much. V-Rally on N64 was awful. It's probably one of the few games I've never regretted trading in. |

I'll go with Vigilante 8. And I was waiting to see how long it would take for someone to continue this thing. You did an alright job alxbly, but not as perfect as mine always are.

I didn't want to see this series die... not when we're so close to finishing.

If you've played Turok 2, then you can vote for Violence Killer Turok: New Generation. Anyways, I've only played Virtual Chess 64, so my vote goes to Vigilante 8. I just can't vote for a game by Titus... |

I like Vigilante 8 and Second Offense... I'll go with Second Offense because it has better music and Bob. O. |

No you can't. To quote data from the "Best game that starts with 'N' topic": "Since Lylat Wars was not counted in "L" to avoid confusion with Star Fox 64, then (I guess Nintendo All-Star Dairantou Smash Brothers should also be excluded". And since we've excluded them, we'll just stick with US titles. In any case, Turok 2 just won the last round. |

It's definitely Vigilante 8. It's the closest the N64 ever got to a Twisted Metal game. B) |

There should be an exception to the rule, that if you haven't played any of the US releases, then you can vote for a game with an alternate name if you've played it. Besides, the rules are really more like suggestions.

So we could potentially have the same game win in two topics, for example; Turok 2 wins best game starting with a T, and due to it having a different Japanese name, it can also win best game starting with a V? That would surely make the outcome of this topic slightly pointless...? It also seems strange to change our suggested rules now that we're at V, but if we are going to then (in order to make the voting as fair as possible) surely we should let people vote again to take this into account. I also want a revote on the 'L' topic so that I can vote for Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64). Wow, voting hasn't been this messy since the last US presidential elections... Or, maybe we could just continue.

Well, you were starting to make some sense, but a little too much reasoning entered that post. First of all, let's not begin to discuss the point of anything that happens on a forum. It's all pointless to me. Secondly, why not let people vote again? It would give people who missed out a chance to vote (I wasn't around for the letter "N"). Or perhaps the people's opinion has changed. You make a mistake, and you regret it for the next 4 years, sometimes 8, if you can't convince others of their mistake. Thirdly, the number one perk of being a moderator is changing the rules to suit our current needs.
